Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Yourplace M57 Apartments” on Mickiewicza, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But this spot actually surprised me in the best way. The building sits right on one of Krakow’s main arteries, which sounds terrible until you realize you’re literally a 10-minute walk from the Market Square and even closer to the Planty gardens. The apartments themselves feel more like someone’s well-maintained city pad than a typical hotel room – you know what I mean? There’s actual counter space in the kitchenette (thank god), decent water pressure in the shower, and windows that actually open properly. The 8.8 rating makes sense once you’re there; it’s not luxury, but everything just… works.

What I really appreciated was how the place handles the whole Old Town experience without the Old Town headaches. You’re close enough to walk everywhere that matters – Wawel Castle, the Jewish Quarter, all those amazing pierogi spots on Grodzka – but far enough from the main tourist chaos that you can actually sleep at night. Mickiewicza can get busy during the day (it’s a major street, after all), but the apartments face different directions so noise isn’t really an issue. The staff actually knows the neighborhood too, which is rarer than you’d think. When I asked about getting to Kazimierz for dinner, the guy at reception didn’t just point vaguely south – he told me which tram to take and mentioned that the evening light hits the synagogues beautifully around 6 PM. Small thing, but it mattered.

Here’s the thing about this place – it’s perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Krakow for a few days rather than just visiting. The apartments have enough space to spread out (I could actually unpack my suitcase completely, which never happens), and there’s something satisfying about making your morning coffee while looking out at locals heading to work. Sure, it’s not going to wow you with marble lobbies or concierge services, but honestly? After a day of walking cobblestones and climbing castle walls, what you want is a comfortable bed, a working shower, and maybe some space to plan tomorrow’s adventure. Yourplace M57 delivers on all of that without any fuss or pretense. Plus – and this is crucial in Krakow’s Old Town area – parking is actually manageable if you’re driving, though you really don’t need a car here. It’s the kind of place I’d book again without hesitation, especially if I was staying more than just a night or two.

  Great apartment in a location very close to the city centre. 2 bathrooms, plenty of kitchen supplies and really handy having an entrance code, rather than keys. We'll definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone

  The accommodation was very clean and modern. Lovely facilities. The location is a 15 minute walk, down one street, to Old Town. Staff were very helpful.

  Great location easy walking distance of the main square, clean and comfortable apartment, great shower and a 2 ring hob was adequate for cooking basic meals, decent fridge and microwave. Shop a minute walk away had enough choice . Would definitely recommend and great value for money

  The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean, everything we needed for a 5 day stay and very modern. Easy self check in with great communication.
  They did have building work happening to the outside of the building but this did not affect our stay 😀
