Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places around Krakow’s Old Town, and honestly? This apartment on Zyblikiewicza caught me completely off guard. When I first walked up to 11A, I wasn’t expecting much – it’s tucked away on this quiet residential street that most tourists never stumble across, maybe a five-minute stroll from all the main square chaos. But you know what struck me immediately? The silence. I mean, you’re still in the heart of everything, but somehow this little pocket feels like a secret the city’s keeping to itself.

The apartment itself is what I’d call thoughtfully done – and I don’t mean in that sterile, cookie-cutter way you see everywhere. Someone actually put effort into making this feel like a home rather than just another rental property. The space works brilliantly for families (hence the name, I guess), with enough room that you’re not tripping over each other’s suitcases, but it’s also cozy enough that couples won’t feel lost rattling around. What I really appreciated were the little touches – proper blackout curtains that actually block the summer morning light, a kitchen stocked with decent cookware if you want to grab groceries from the Galeria Krakowska, and honestly, the best shower pressure I’ve had in Poland. Small things, but they matter when you’re trying to feel human after a long travel day.

Here’s the thing about the location that took me a while to fully appreciate – you’re positioned perfectly between the tourist madness and real Krakow life. Walk toward Floriańska and you’ll hit the main drag in minutes, but head the other direction and you’ll find yourself wandering residential streets where locals are walking their dogs and kids are playing in courtyards. I actually discovered this amazing little bakery just two blocks over that I never would’ve found staying right on the market square. Parking was surprisingly manageable too – there’s street parking that doesn’t require a engineering degree to figure out, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will tell you is basically a miracle. The whole area gets pretty quiet after 10 PM, so if you’re hoping to party until dawn, you might want to stay closer to the action. But if you want to actually sleep and wake up refreshed? Perfect. That 9.7 rating isn’t just people being generous – this place genuinely delivers on the stuff that matters most when you’re somewhere for more than just a quick photo stop.

  The apartment was very nice, clean and well organized with everything what is needed for cooking and short stay. There was coffee, tea, sugar, oil, salt, spices. Washing machine, all cleaning soaps, shower gel. Wifi included.

  Amazing:) We liked everything. Bedroom is spacious and the caouch and the bed were really comfortable.. The apartment was really clean something that made us feel comfortable and relaxed. It has everything you need, coffee etc.

  The apartment was a bit small but it really made up for the size in comfort and location! It had everything we needed and anything we wanted was within walking distance. The owners were very hospitable,got us a high chair and blender for my baby which we really appreciated! They were also keeping constant contact with us which i also liked. It was also suuuper warm,had to turn off the heating at some point,it got that warm!
  
  What could be improved: The only thing was the lack of a toaster which wasnt really that big of a deal. Also there were quite a few steps till the apartment door which wasnt ideal for a pram but we made do.
