The apartment itself feels authentic to that vibe – it’s got this slightly raw, converted feel that actually works really well.

The fact that it’s genuinely pet-friendly makes such a difference if you’re traveling with your dog or cat. I’ve stayed in plenty of places that claim to welcome pets but then give you dirty looks at check-in, you know? Here, they actually mean it. There’s space for your furry friend to move around, and honestly, the whole Zabłocie area is perfect for dog walks – lots of quiet streets and the Vistula riverbank is just a short stroll away. The kitchen setup is actually practical – I could make proper coffee in the morning and even cook dinner when I didn’t feel like going out.

What I really appreciated was how this location puts you right in the middle of Kraków’s creative scene without the tourist crowds of the Old Town. You can walk to places like the Museum of Contemporary Art or grab a craft beer at one of those converted warehouse breweries, then still be at the main square in about 15 minutes if you want the classic Kraków experience. The trams run regularly from this area, which honestly saved me so much money on taxis. Sure, you might hear some street noise occasionally – it’s still a city, after all – but it never kept me awake. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that overly complicated keycode situation some rentals throw at you. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was coming back with my dog.
