You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment you walk in and see Wawel Castle just sitting there in your window frame like it’s no big deal. I mean, you’re literally looking at one of Poland’s most iconic landmarks from your living room – honestly, it never gets old. The apartment itself is pretty straightforward, nothing fancy, but that view is doing all the heavy work here.

The location is actually perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the tourist chaos right at the castle gates. You’re close enough to walk to the Old Town in maybe ten minutes (down the hill, which is lovely – coming back up with groceries, well, that’s another story). I found myself wandering over to the Vistula riverbank in the evenings quite a bit – there’s something really peaceful about watching the sunset hit the castle walls from down there. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel where you’ll find locals grabbing coffee and doing their daily shopping, not just tourists with cameras.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re basically in the city center. The building seems solid enough that you won’t hear much from neighbors, and the street below isn’t one of those main arteries that gets traffic all night. Check-in was smooth – the host actually knows the area well and gave me some solid recommendations for places that weren’t in my guidebook. The apartment itself is clean and functional, though I’d say it’s more about the experience than luxury amenities. The kitchen has what you need if you want to grab some ingredients from the nearby market and cook with that castle view (which I definitely recommend doing at least once). Parking can be a bit tricky in this area – I mean, it’s the historic center, so that’s expected – but there are options within a few blocks if you’re driving.

  The apartment is pretty spacious. And its location is great – short walk till the old town. We traveled by car, didn’t have any issues with parking.

  I liked the location, just across the river and you're beside the Wavel Castle. Also the apartment is very nice, has everything and parking is very convenient. Also there is Zabka few meters away.

  Nice apartement for two people. Walking distance to river and old town Dog friendly, pet fee about 8e per day. Free parking outside. 4th floor with elevator. Easy self chek in and communication with owner. Minimarket down stairs open until 23.00.
