Aparthotel Camea Overview
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much from Aparthotel Camea when I first walked up to it – three stars doesn’t exactly scream luxury, you know? But sometimes the best places are the ones that surprise you, and this little gem absolutely did that. The moment I stepped into the lobby, there was this comfortable, lived-in feeling that bigger hotels just can’t fake. It’s the kind of place where the staff actually remembers your name by day two, and I mean that in the best possible way.
What really won me over was how well they’ve thought through the aparthotel concept. These aren’t just hotel rooms with a mini-fridge shoved in the corner – they’re actual functional spaces where you can spread out and live a little. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped (I actually cooked breakfast a couple times, which never happens when I travel), and there’s enough counter space that you don’t feel like you’re playing Tetris with your coffee mug and phone charger. The beds are solid too – not too soft, not too firm – and the blackout curtains actually work, which is rarer than it should be. I sleep terribly in most hotels, but here I was out like a light every night.
The location turned out to be one of those happy accidents where being slightly off the main tourist drag works in your favor. You’re close enough to walk to the action but far enough away that you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. There’s a little café around the corner that locals actually use – always a good sign – and the morning walks to grab coffee became one of my favorite parts of the day. Parking was straightforward too, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will appreciate. Look, it’s not going to blow your mind with fancy amenities or Instagram-worthy rooftop pools, but that 8.5 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed there. It’s just a really well-run place that gets the basics right and then adds those little touches that make you feel like you’re staying somewhere special rather than just passing through. The value is excellent – I’ve paid twice as much for places that gave me half the comfort and none of the character.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Krakow at least two months ahead for major events like cultural festivals, ensuring the best rates and prime locations near Market Square.

Location. Really centre. The room was very clean. Service really nice. Even the size of the room (as far as single room can be considered) was rather roomy. I've seen people throwing double beds into such rooms and calling the double rooms. So overall nice surprise there.

Really good location – short walk to market square, castle, and surrounded by restaurants. The old-world charm of the units was wonderful.
