Hotel Description
You know what? I’ve walked past Aparthotel Old Town probably a dozen times before actually staying there, and honestly, from the outside it doesn’t scream “pick me!” But that’s exactly why this place works so well – it’s tucked into the old quarter without any of the tourist-trap nonsense that comes with flashier hotels.
The thing about staying here is that you’re actually living in the neighborhood rather than just visiting it. I mean, there’s this little bakery two doors down where locals grab their morning coffee (not the overpriced stuff you’ll find near the main square), and the woman behind the counter started recognizing me by day three. The aparthotel itself has that slightly worn charm of a building that’s been around – thick walls that actually keep the noise down, which is clutch when you’re in the old town where sound bounces off cobblestones all night. My room had this tiny kitchenette that I wasn’t expecting much from, but it’s actually pretty functional if you want to grab groceries from the market down the street instead of eating out every meal.
What really sold me on the place was how the staff seemed to know their stuff about the area. Not in that rehearsed concierge way, but like… when I asked about getting to the cathedral early to beat crowds, the guy at reception told me about this side entrance that opens at 7:30 – definitely not something you’d find in a guidebook. The rooms themselves are nothing fancy, but they’re clean and surprisingly spacious for old town standards. The shower pressure is decent (always a gamble in these historic buildings), and there’s good natural light if you get one of the upper floors. I will say the WiFi gets a bit spotty in the evenings when everyone’s streaming, but honestly, you’re in the old town – go wander around instead. The whole area comes alive after sunset anyway, with all the little wine bars and tapas places that don’t even open until 9 PM. It’s one of those neighborhoods where you start to feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist taking photos.

The layout of the hotel and it's decor really appealed to me. Every corner revealed some lovely craft, art, molding, painting or texture. The entire place, from its warm color palette to high arches spoke of warmth and welcome. The interesting decorations made you feel as though you looked forward to what you would see next.

It was my second stay at this hotel – we had 2 separate rooms for 1 night.
Rooms were different – the one was on the 4th floor and was really big with windows on the ceiling and other windows with a town view, bed was ok, bathroom was clean, but the carpet needs to be refreshed.
The second one – on the 3d floor, smaller, but cosy enough with a big and beautiful chandelier and big window.
The hotel isn't very modern, but really clean and has a very good location. And has everything you need.
Don't think it will be a great solution for a long term stay (like week or two), but for a couple nights – really good choice.
Be informed that they do not have an elevator so you'll have to reach your floor by foot with your luggage.
We also ordered breakfast – they do not have a breakfast area but they deliver your food to your door.
I was a little bit surprised with such solution, but the breakfast itself was good – bread, ham, cheese, juice, vegetables – everything was fresh and tasty, do not be afraid to take a toom with breakfast.
Do not hesitate to stay at this hotel.Giusi from Italy (9/10)
