P&J Apartments Lubicz Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to P&J Apartments Lubicz on a quiet street in Kraków’s Old Town, you immediately get that feeling you’ve stumbled onto something good. This three-star property sits right in the heart of everything — I mean, you’re literally steps away from the main square, but somehow the street itself feels peaceful. The building has that classic Kraków charm without being overly touristy, and honestly, the location score of 9.0 makes complete sense once you’re here.

The Apartment Experience

What I love about this place is that you’re getting an apartment setup rather than just a hotel room, which gives you so much more flexibility. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen — not just a mini-fridge situation — so you can actually cook if you want to save some money or just prefer eating in. The spaces feel lived-in rather than sterile, with thoughtful touches that make you feel like you’re staying in someone’s well-appointed home rather than a generic accommodation. You know what really struck me? The way they’ve managed to keep the original character of the building while making everything feel modern and comfortable.

Location Magic

Here’s the thing about the location — couples absolutely rave about it, giving it a 9.0 rating, and I can see why. You can walk to Wawel Castle in about ten minutes, the main market square is practically around the corner, and yet you’re not dealing with the constant noise and crowds that come with being right on the tourist strip. The Lubicz street itself connects you to both the Old Town and Kazimierz district, so you’ve got the best of both worlds. I actually found myself walking everywhere instead of using trams because everything felt so accessible.

Practical Perks

The breakfast situation here is pretty solid — they do continental and vegetarian options, plus breakfast to go if you’re planning an early day trip to Wieliczka or somewhere. What really sets this place apart though is the private parking on site, which is honestly a godsend in Kraków’s Old Town where finding a spot can be a nightmare. Most places in this area either don’t have parking at all or charge you an arm and a leg for it. The staff seems to genuinely care about making your stay work, not just checking boxes.

Why Guests Love It

Look, this isn’t trying to be an upscale experience, but it delivers exactly what most travelers actually want — space, location, and value. The apartment-style setup means you can spread out, store your groceries, and actually live a bit rather than just crash between sightseeing sessions. The fact that it’s in the real heart of Kraków while still feeling like a neighborhood spot rather than a tourist trap is pretty rare. For the price point and the freedom it gives you, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights, it’s honestly hard to beat.

Very spacious and great location and beds are super comfortable

  • Maja from Slovenia (8/10)

The apartment was very well equipped and there was a lot of storage space which can be very convenient when travelling with multiple people. The location was very nice as well, there were lots of stores and bakeries nearby. The beds were comfortable too and overall the apartment was very spacious. Many people in the reviews complained about the noise but personally I couldn't hear a thing, the walls were very well isolated. The staff was very adaptable to our wishes and helpful.

  • Liam from United Kingdom (8/10)

    Spacious, modern and clean
Great size lounge with good TV, oven, microwave, fridge etc.
Decent location near main train station and shopping centre

  • Tracey from United Kingdom (8/10)

Close to transport links and town

  • Thomas from United States (7/10)

Location, location, location! This large apartment was ideally located for walking (under 15 minutes) to the Barbakan, the Brama Floriańska, Kraków Old Town (Bazylika Mariacka and Sukiennice), Wawel Castle, and Collegium Maius and Jagiellonian University. With a bit more walking (or taking public transportation), you can visit the impressive museum at Oskar Schindler's Factory, a full day event that we simply couldn't repeat this visit. The apartment is also convenient to the Wieliczka Salt Mine via a short rail trip from Kraków Głowny station. For modern shopping needs, pharmacy, etc., you can find anything you want at the Galeria (with access to the Kraków Głowny station) less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

  • Tharindu from Finland (9/10)

It was very close to the bus station

  • Jan from Slovakia (8/10)

We got other apartment as booked here. So, it was a little bit tricky to park the car in booked location, then pick up the keys in service desk in centre of Krakow and after some beers take all belongings from car to a new place, but not a big issue for us.
Our apartment was directly opposite the bus station so it was louder then we thought. It was colder weather so closing the windows did the thing 🙂
