You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment you step inside, you completely forget you’re staying in an apartment rental. I mean, sure, the name “Apartment – Main Square” sounds pretty basic, but honestly – this 4-star spot punches way above its weight class, and that 9 rating isn’t just people being generous.

The location is actually perfect if you want to be right in the thick of things. Being on the main square means you’re literally steps away from all the action – I’m talking about rolling out of bed and grabbing coffee from that little place downstairs before the tour groups even show up. The morning light hits the square in this amazing way around 8 AM, and you get a front-row seat to watch the whole city wake up. Now, I’ll be honest, weekends can get a bit lively (okay, loud) especially during summer evenings, but the windows are surprisingly good at blocking most of it out. Plus, there’s something kind of magical about falling asleep to the distant hum of people enjoying themselves.

What really impressed me was how they’ve managed to keep that authentic apartment feel while still giving you proper hotel-level comfort. The kitchen actually works – like, really works, not just some sad mini-fridge situation. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because, well, the local market is right there across the square, and also because the whole setup just invites you to slow down a bit. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward key-passing-through-neighbors thing you sometimes get with apartment rentals. They’ve got it figured out. The space feels genuinely lived-in rather than sterile, which I appreciate – there are books on the shelves (real ones!), decent art on the walls, and the furniture is comfortable enough that you’ll actually use that couch. Parking can be tricky during peak season – the square gets pretty packed – but there’s a garage about two blocks over that locals use. Honestly, though, once you’re settled in here, you probably won’t need your car much anyway since everything worth seeing is walkable.
