You know what caught me off guard about this place? The light. I mean, they literally put “sunny view” in the name, but honestly I wasn’t expecting much from an apartment rental – then I walked in around 3 PM and the whole living space was just flooded with this gorgeous natural light. The windows face the right direction where you actually get that golden afternoon glow without the harsh morning glare that makes you want to crawl back under the covers.

The AC situation is legit too, which – let me tell you – matters more than you think it would. I’ve stayed in plenty of European apartments where they promise air conditioning and you end up with some ancient wall unit that sounds like a freight train and barely cools one corner of the room. This one’s actually quiet and keeps the whole space comfortable, even during those sticky summer afternoons when you just want to sprawl out and recover from walking around all day. The apartment itself has this lived-in feel that I really appreciated – not sterile like a hotel room, but not cluttered either. Just comfortable furniture that’s actually meant for sitting on, a kitchen where you can make real coffee in the morning (there’s a proper machine, not those terrible pod things), and enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped.

What I really loved though was how it felt like staying in someone’s actual home rather than a tourist rental. The neighbors were friendly but not intrusive – you know, the kind of building where people nod hello but don’t try to start conversations when you’re clearly rushing out with your camera bag. The whole area has this authentic neighborhood vibe where you’ll find local cafés mixed in with the usual tourist spots, and honestly, some of my best meals came from just wandering around the nearby streets rather than following guidebook recommendations. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around in a lobby or dealing with key cards that stop working every other day. Just clear instructions, easy access, and everything worked exactly like it was supposed to. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything’s well-maintained and thoughtfully set up. That 8.6 rating from other guests makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s the kind of place that exceeds expectations without making a big deal about it.
