Hotel Description
You know what? I wasn’t sure what to expect from Art Studios – LoftAffair when I first booked it – the name alone made me think it might be one of those pretentious places that’s all style and no substance. But honestly, I was pleasantly surprised. This 3-star spot has this whole converted warehouse vibe going on, and I mean that in the best possible way. The moment you walk in, you get hit with these soaring ceilings and exposed brick walls that actually feel authentic, not like someone just slapped some industrial décor on the walls and called it a day.
The rooms – well, they’re more like mini lofts, which explains the name – have this lived-in artist’s studio feel that somehow manages to be both edgy and comfortable. My space had these huge windows that let in incredible natural light during the day, though fair warning, if you’re a late sleeper, you might want to figure out those heavy curtains situation pretty quickly. The furniture’s this mix of vintage pieces and modern touches that shouldn’t work together but somehow does. I actually spent way more time just hanging out in my room than I usually do at hotels because it felt like staying at a creative friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel box. The kitchenette was surprisingly well-equipped too – I mean, I’m not talking gourmet cooking here, but you can definitely handle more than just reheating leftovers.
What really sold me on this place though was the attention to those little details that most places completely overlook. The Wi-Fi actually works everywhere (seriously, even in the elevator), the water pressure in the shower is fantastic, and they’ve got this communal rooftop space that’s perfect for evening drinks or just watching the city do its thing. The staff feels more like local art students than typical hotel employees – they’re genuinely enthusiastic about the neighborhood and will point you toward galleries or coffee shops you’d never find on your own. Check-in was smooth, though parking can be a bit of a puzzle since you’re dealing with typical urban constraints. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me because while it’s not luxury by any stretch, it delivers exactly what it promises with some unexpected bonuses thrown in. If you’re looking for cookie-cutter hotel comfort, this probably isn’t your spot, but if you want somewhere with genuine character that feels connected to the local creative scene, Art Studios – LoftAffair hits that sweet spot perfectly.

Maymayak from Croatia (9/10)
We liked absolutely everything about the flat, but especially location, the best you can find, steps away from old town and at the same time very quiet. Fully equipped and clean flat!
Maksym from Germany (9/10)
The apartment is located in a luxurious area very close to the center. There are many cafes and supermarkets nearby. The key handover was well organized. Despite being in a semi-basement, the apartment was quiet. The bathroom is large and clean. The room itself is also spacious and equipped with everything necessary for both long-term and short-term stays. I recommend it to everyone visiting Krakow!
