The WiFi holds up even when the whole neighborhood seems to be streaming something, probably because they’re not cramming twenty people into what should be a two-person space.

What I really appreciate is the location strategy here. You’re close enough to walk to Wawel Castle without breaking a sweat, and the Jewish Quarter in Kazimierz is maybe fifteen minutes on foot if you take the scenic route along the river. But here’s the thing locals know — Zyblikiewicza puts you near some genuinely good neighborhood spots that aren’t charging tourist prices. There’s a little bakery around the corner that does these incredible zapiekanka sandwiches, and you’re walking distance from Planty Park, which is perfect for those early morning runs before the city wakes up. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle (honestly, it’s Old Town, what do you expect?), but the check-in process was refreshingly straightforward — none of that runaround where you’re standing on cobblestones for twenty minutes with your luggage. The 8.5 rating makes total sense when you actually stay there; it’s the kind of place that delivers on what it promises without trying to oversell itself. You get the authentic Krakow experience without feeling like you’re roughing it or paying through the nose for location alone.

  Location of the apartment is fantastic, close to everything and the fact there is a lift is a godsend after averaging 20,000 steps a day!! Apartment has all the basics although we literally only slept there, but there are games and a games console. Natasza is a great host, very responsive and thoughtful, left sweets for my son as it was his 21st while we were there. It is a light airy apartment with air con and minimal noise. Loved the velux window in the mezzanine space.
  
  What could be improved: Not a dislike but the mezzanine level is limited for standing up in if you are over 5ft, but would be great for kids!

  Excellent location between the Old Town and the Old Jewish Quarter (short walk to each) and only a 10 to 15 minute walk from the rail station. Clean and comfy apartment with everything you’d need for a short stay in this wonderful city.
