When I walked around the grounds, I kept thinking this is what Polish countryside hospitality actually looks like – not the sanitized version hotels usually serve up. The grass really does grow right up to your doorstep in some spots, and during morning coffee, you’ll hear nothing but birds and maybe the distant sound of farm equipment. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – no fancy lobby theatrics, just genuine people who seem to actually care whether you’re comfortable.

What really won me over, though, was how the staff treats the place like it matters to them personally. They’ll tell you about the best walking paths (there are some lovely ones that wind through the surrounding fields), and they actually know when the local market runs and which day the bread truck comes by. The rooms themselves are clean and comfortable without being fussy – think solid wooden furniture, decent beds, and windows that actually open to let in fresh air. Sure, the WiFi can be spotty sometimes, and the shower pressure isn’t going to blow you away, but you’re not really here for that anyway. The 8.9 rating makes perfect sense to me because this place delivers on what it promises – it’s not trying to be something it isn’t. If you’re looking for that authentic Polish countryside experience without the tourist trap nonsense, and you don’t mind trading marble countertops for genuine character, you’ll probably love it here. Plus, it’s surprisingly quiet at night, which isn’t always a given with rural accommodations.
