Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about City of the Kings – Wolf Apartment? The name makes it sound way more dramatic than it actually is, but honestly, that’s part of its charm. I mean, you’re basically staying in someone’s really well-appointed apartment in Grzegórzki, which — if you don’t know Krakow well — is this perfectly positioned neighborhood that locals love because it’s close enough to everything but far enough from the tourist chaos.
The building on Dąbska is one of those solid, understated places that doesn’t scream “hotel” from the outside, which I actually preferred. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward (none of that overly formal front desk theater), and the apartment itself feels like your friend who has really good taste let you crash at their place. The kitchen actually works — I’m talking full-size appliances, not those tiny European fridges that barely hold a bottle of wine. Speaking of which, there’s a Żabka literally around the corner if you need basics, and honestly, the whole street has this lived-in residential vibe that makes you feel less like a tourist. The tram stop is maybe a three-minute walk, which means you’re in the Old Town in about ten minutes without dealing with parking (trust me, don’t even think about driving in the center).
What really sold me on this place was the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The Wi-Fi doesn’t cut out every time someone uses the microwave, the shower has proper water pressure, and — this might sound silly — but the windows actually block out street noise. I slept better here than I did at some five-star places in Warsaw, to be honest. The whole setup feels more like a high-end Airbnb than a traditional hotel, but with that reliable 4-star consistency you want when you’re traveling. Plus, being in Grzegórzki means you’re walking distance from some genuinely good restaurants that aren’t just pierogi tourist traps — there’s this amazing Vietnamese place called Momo that’s maybe five minutes away that locals actually go to. The area gets busy during the day but settles down nicely in the evenings, so you get that authentic neighborhood rhythm without feeling isolated from everything you came to Krakow to see. That 9.4 rating isn’t just people being nice — this place genuinely delivers on being somewhere you’d want to stay, not just somewhere you’d tolerate for a few nights.

Wonderful – Karina from Lithuania – June 19, 2025 (9/10)
Good location, clean, clear instructions
What could be improved: Felt bit too religious at one room:)Excellent Apartment within a short distance of Central Krakow. Would recommend – David from Ireland – June 12, 2025 (9/10)
Excellent location – only a short distance to the city by tram which go every few minutes. Close to Tauron Arena. Great local amenities i.e. Zabka stores, Burger and Pizza restaurants nearby. Lidl with 10-15 mins walk. Built up but other residents were quiet. Apartment was modern and well furnished. TV with netflix was great. High quality appliances, Excellent Wifi. Nice Balcony. Host was very prompt in sharing check in codes and good to deal with. I would highly recommend for families.
What could be improved: Very little to fault. Missing a couple of small items i.e. Toaster would have been nice. Perhaps some detergent tablets for washing machine. Minor points as overall very happy with apartment,Wonderful – Damjan from Slovenia – January 6, 2025 (9/10)
The apartment in a new residential building on the outskirts of Krakow impressed us with its convenient garage and peaceful location. Its proximity to main roads made it perfect for exploring the surrounding area by car, while the city center was easily accessible via an affordable local taxi. A great choice for those who value comfort and accessibility.
Exceptional – Kateřina from Czech Republic – January 2, 2025 (10/10)
The apartment is very nice, modern and clean. The location is very close to the arena, but the city center is also not too far. There are supermarkets and restaurants in the area.
