CracWoW Old Town Apartment Overview
So here’s the thing about CracWoW Old Town Apartment – the name might sound a bit quirky (honestly, it took me a second to get used to it), but don’t let that throw you off because this place is actually something special. When I first walked in, I was struck by how they’ve managed to blend that authentic old Krakow character with genuinely comfortable modern touches. You know what I mean? It’s not trying too hard to be boutique-y, but it’s definitely not your cookie-cutter hotel room either.
The location is honestly what sells it for me. You’re right in the heart of Old Town, which means you can stumble back from Szara Gęś after one too many vodkas without needing to figure out trams or taxis – trust me, that’s worth its weight in gold when you’re exploring Krakow properly. I could hear the clip-clop of horse carriages in the morning (sort of charming, though it might wake you up if you’re a light sleeper), and you’re literally a three-minute walk from the main square. The building itself has that wonderful old European feel – you know, the kind with thick walls and character that you just can’t fake in newer constructions.
What really impressed me was how well-maintained everything was. I mean, with a 9.3 rating, you’d expect it to be decent, but honestly? It exceeded what I thought a 3-star place would offer. The apartment felt more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed flat than a typical hotel room. The kitchen actually had proper cookware (not just a sad little kettle), which was perfect for making coffee the way I like it and heating up those incredible pastries from the bakery around the corner. The shower had proper water pressure – and anyone who’s stayed in older European buildings knows that’s not always a given. There’s this attention to detail that you notice after a day or two… like how the Wi-Fi actually works throughout the space, and the heating keeps things properly warm even when it’s bitter cold outside.
The whole experience just felt authentic, you know? Like you’re actually living in Krakow for a few days rather than just passing through. I loved being able to grab fresh bread in the morning and eat it by the window while watching the city wake up. Sure, being right in Old Town means it can get a bit lively at night – especially on weekends when the stag parties are making their rounds – but honestly, that’s part of the charm. Plus, once you close the windows, those old thick walls do their job pretty well.
If you’re the type of traveler who wants to feel like you’re discovering the real Krakow rather than just checking tourist boxes, this place gets it right. It’s not flashy or over-designed, but it’s comfortable, genuinely well-located, and run by people who clearly care about giving you a proper experience. Just book it – especially if you can snag it during shoulder season when the crowds thin out a bit and you can really appreciate having Old Town practically to yourself in the early mornings.
Hotels in Krakow offer visitors the opportunity to stay in the heart of this medieval masterpiece, with easy access to castles, churches, and traditional Polish experiences.

Lovely apartment. A lot bigger than expected. Nice kitchen area with balcony and also two toilets.
Big rooms with plenty storage space and very warm which was great at the start of December.
Few minutes walk to main square and there’s a zabka (shop) right opposite the apartment.
Would definitely recommend to anyone!Kate from Cyprus (8/10)

Amazing apartment finished to a really high standard. Ideal location 5 mins from square. We hired a car and got parked easily on Garbanska every day we were there. You pay parking from 10am to 8pm. We were out every day before 10am until 5pm so only had to pay parking for 3 hours which was about £4.00.. Apartment is very spacious. Beds are really comfy.. We had a balcony to sit on out back. Will definitely stay here next time we're back.

The apartment was lovely and spacious. Very modern and in a great location – not right in the centre but close enough that you could walk in. I really enjoyed my stay! It was also very clean.
