You know what really surprised me about 3D FLORIANSKA 15 Apartament? It’s one of those places that looks pretty standard online but actually has way more character once you’re there. I mean, the name is a bit of a mouthful – honestly, everyone just calls it “the Florianska place” – but the location on Florianska Street is absolutely golden if you know Krakow at all.

The thing is, you’re literally steps away from the main square, but somehow you avoid all that tourist chaos that makes the hotels right on Rynek unbearable during peak season. I stayed there in June (mistake – way too crowded everywhere else) and while the square was packed with those horse carriages and street performers until like 2 AM, Florianska stays surprisingly quiet at night. The apartment itself is proper spacious too, which you don’t always get with these converted historic buildings. I actually had room to spread out my stuff without living out of a suitcase for a week. The kitchen area is small but functional – I made coffee every morning and picked up pastries from that little bakery around the corner (you’ll smell it before you see it, trust me).

What really works about this place is that it feels like staying in someone’s actual apartment rather than a sterile hotel room. The decor is sort of modern-meets-old-world – not Instagram perfect, but comfortable in that lived-in way. The Wi-Fi is solid, which matters if you’re working remotely, and the shower has proper water pressure, which honestly can’t be said for every place in the Old Town. Check-in was smooth too – they actually met me at the building since these old doorways can be tricky to find. The 8.2 rating makes sense to me; it’s not luxury, but it delivers on what matters. You’re paying for the location and the space, and both are spot-on. Just keep in mind it’s still a historic building, so if you’re expecting elevator access or perfect soundproofing, maybe adjust expectations. But for the price point and being right in the heart of things without the premium hotel markup? I’d definitely book it again, especially for longer stays when you want to feel less like a tourist and more like you’re actually living in the city for a bit.
