You know what struck me first about Domles Apartments? It’s tucked away on Karmelicka Street in a way that feels deliberately hidden from the tourist chaos, but you’re still smack in the heart of Old Town. I mean, you can walk to the Main Square in maybe eight minutes – I timed it because I’m weird like that – but the street itself has this lovely residential vibe where you’ll see locals heading to the corner bakery in the morning.

The apartments themselves are honestly impressive for a four-star place. They’ve got this modern Polish design thing going on that doesn’t try too hard to be trendy, if that makes sense. The kitchenettes are actually functional (not those sad hotel attempts with a mini-fridge and a prayer), and the beds are properly comfortable – none of that rock-hard European mattress nonsense. What I really appreciated was the soundproofing; Karmelicka isn’t exactly a main thoroughfare, but even the weekend evening chatter from people heading to Kazimierz doesn’t really penetrate. The WiFi is solid too, which matters if you’re trying to upload photos or catch up on work between wandering around.

Location-wise, you’re positioned perfectly for exploring without feeling like you’re in a tourist fishbowl. The Jewish Quarter is a fifteen-minute stroll south, and honestly, walking through the quiet streets early morning with a coffee from that little place on Szewska – well, it’s one of those moments that reminds you why you travel. Parking can be tricky in this area (like most of Old Town), but they’ve got arrangements with nearby spots, and the staff actually knows the neighborhood well enough to give you real directions, not just “it’s nearby somewhere.” I stayed here during shoulder season in October, and while summer might be more hectic, the autumn light filtering through those old windows in the morning was pretty spectacular. The 9.1 rating makes total sense – it’s the kind of place where someone clearly thought about what travelers actually need rather than just what looks good in photos.

  Great apartment in a very central location, just a few minutes walk from the Old City center. It was equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Really spacious and nice, with a lot of shops, bakeries and coffee shops around.

  We absolutely loved our stay! We traveled as a family of four and the location couldn't have been better. It made it easy for us to explore the Old Town little by little. There’s a convenient little store nearby, great dining options within walking distance, and a lovely outdoor area to relax and enjoy the weather. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Having parking available made our trip completely hassle-free. Highly recommended!
  
  What could be improved: The only downside was that when we made the booking, it was indicated that parking was included in the price. However, there was an additional charge for it and it needs to be booked in advance. It would be helpful if this information were clarified in advance to avoid any confusion.

  What could be improved: Curtains in the bedrooms could be wider to fully cover the window opening and not allow sun rays to enter the room in the mornings.

  The apartments are absolutely beautiful & so comfortable to stay in. They are situated very central to pretty much everything, with cosmic pub games just across the road & the main square about a 15 minute walk away.
  It was very inexpensive to stay here & was worth every penny. I would definitely book again, for when I return to Krakow.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was a bit too hot at times. There was an issue with our shower being blocked & the smell was pretty bad. However, customer service was excellent & the problem was sorted the next morning.

  It was clean, location was great, bed was comfortable you can find whatever you need in an apartment like umbrella, hairdryer…
  
  What could be improved: At night it was cold, the wind could move the curtain. I wanted to turn on the heating system but it wasn't prepared for winter yet it started to leak water therefore I had to close it. Also in sitting room there was no heating system. But I haven't deduct any point for heating system. I gave 8 just due to the shower.
  But I had the worst experience of taking shower in this apartment. The big shower didn't work and I couldn't fix the smaller shower to top, it was loose and unadjustable, Water could go out through the glass easily, the drain hole was somehow blocked. In my three days staying I took just just one time shower.
  There were also two TVs but I couldn't turn on either of them.
