Hotel Description
Look, I’ll be honest with you – when I first heard “student apartments,” I was expecting cramped dorms and questionable plumbing. But these Erasmus Student Apartments in Old Town actually surprised me in a good way. Sure, it’s a 3-star spot with a 7.3 rating (nothing fancy), but there’s something refreshingly real about staying here that beats those sterile chain hotels every time.
The location is honestly what makes this place work. You’re right in the thick of Old Town, which means you can stumble back from dinner without worrying about taxis or transit schedules. I mean, you’ll hear some street noise – it comes with the territory when you’re this central – but it’s the good kind of noise, you know? People chatting outside cafés, not traffic jams. The apartments themselves are pretty straightforward – clean, functional, with that slightly mismatched furniture vibe that somehow feels more homey than a perfectly coordinated hotel room. The kitchenettes are actually useful too, not just for show. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because there’s a little market just around the corner where locals shop (way better than hotel breakfast buffets, honestly).
What I really appreciated was how the staff treated you like a person, not a reservation number. Check-in was casual but efficient – they actually gave me tips about which bars stay open late and where to find the best coffee that wasn’t tourist-priced. The whole vibe feels more like crashing at a friend’s place than staying in a hotel. Is everything perfect? Well, no – the WiFi gets a bit spotty during peak hours when everyone’s streaming, and don’t expect daily housekeeping. But honestly, those minor quirks are part of what makes it feel authentic. You’re not paying for marble bathrooms or a concierge in a suit, you’re paying to live like a local for a few days. And in Old Town, that means being able to walk to everything that matters, having space to spread out your stuff, and not feeling like you need to whisper in the hallways. If you’re the type who needs fresh towels every day and turndown service, this probably isn’t your spot. But if you want to actually experience the neighborhood instead of just visiting it, these apartments hit that sweet spot between comfort and character.

The apartment is in a brilliant location just beside the river and a short walk into the Old Town city centre. All facilities that you would need with washing machines separate in hallway, apartment was quite warm and cosy.
