Here you’ve got proper space to spread out, and honestly, having a little kitchenette changed my whole travel game. The furnishings aren’t Instagram-worthy or anything, but they’re comfortable and clean – kind of like staying at a friend’s place who has decent taste but isn’t obsessed with interior design. I actually appreciated that it felt lived-in rather than sterile.

You’d think with “apartments” you might deal with neighbor noise, but the walls are solid and most people staying here seem to be travelers, not partiers. Check-in was refreshingly simple too – no pretentious lobby scene, just straightforward service from people who actually seem to know the area. The staff gave me better restaurant recommendations than any concierge I’ve dealt with at fancier places, and they were right about everything (especially this little bakery they mentioned that I never would have found otherwise). The whole place has this relaxed vibe that makes you feel like you can actually unwind, which honestly is harder to find than you’d think. If you’re looking for marble bathrooms and room service, this isn’t your spot – but if you want a solid, comfortable base that won’t eat your budget and gives you space to actually live a little during your trip, FatCat really delivers on that promise.

  Very spacious and comfortable and it had everything we needed. It was also in an excellent location for the old city and Jewish quarter. Just a few minutes walk to where we wanted to be.
  Our host was very responsive, reaching out to us us to check we were comfortable and very efficient communication when we had an issue.

  Great location, easily walkable to old town & Jewish Quarter. Everything you need is provided. Check in was simple using a lockbox. Apartment is lovely and warm with underfloor heating throughout. It is located on a quiet road and the apartment we stayed in was at the rear of the building, so was very quiet, we didn’t hear any noise from neighbours either. Beds were comfortable, as was the linen provided.

  Well located , in a walking distance to the Old Town as well as main railway station. Another good thing was flexibility with check in and check out. I don’t have a cons, the only thing I’d suggest to add some home slippers for the ground floor apartment as at the winter time it was too cold to walk.
