You know what caught me off guard about Goldengreen Apartment? The name honestly doesn’t do it justice – I was expecting some basic extended-stay setup, but this place actually has character. When I first walked in, there was this immediate sense that someone really thought about how travelers actually live, not just sleep. The lobby isn’t trying to impress anyone with marble and chandeliers, but it’s got this warm, lived-in feeling that makes you want to settle in with coffee and actually plan your day instead of rushing out.

The apartment itself – and I mean, it really feels like an apartment, not a hotel room with a kitchenette slapped in the corner – has all these little touches that show they get it. The kitchen actually has decent knives (you’d be shocked how rare that is), the couch is something you can legitimately sprawl on for a movie night, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t mysteriously die every time more than two people try to use it. I spent a solid week here last spring, and honestly, by day three I was doing laundry and grocery shopping like I lived there. The washing machine doesn’t sound like it’s about to launch into orbit, which – again, small thing that matters when you’re trying to sleep.

What really sold me, though, was how the staff just… knew things. Not in an intrusive way, but when I mentioned I was looking for a decent coffee spot that wasn’t a chain, the front desk guy didn’t just point me toward the nearest Starbucks. He actually drew me a little map to this place three blocks over where locals grab their morning fix, and threw in a heads-up that they close randomly on Tuesdays. That kind of intel is worth its weight in gold when you’re trying to feel less like a tourist. The 9.7 rating initially seemed almost too good to be true – I mean, nothing’s perfect, right? But after staying there, I get it. It’s not fancy, and the building’s probably seen better decades, but everything works the way it should, the place is genuinely clean (not just hotel-clean, but actually clean), and you never feel like you’re being nickel-and-dimed for basic stuff. Even the checkout process was refreshingly normal – no surprise fees, no guilt trip about not using the overpriced minibar. Just straightforward hospitality from people who seem to actually care whether you’d come back.

  Beautiful large apartment, nicely furnished. Everything you need in the kitchen. Good working WiFi.
  A grocery store and a drug store are a few meters from the apartment. Also a fruit and vegetable market. Very quiet location near the center.

  The apartment had everything you could need. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, coffee maker toaster, also washing machine and dishwasher.a whole room-closet. The bathroom with the two sinks was perfect for a family of four. Really comfortable apartment. Walking distance to old town with nice views, if you walked by the river. The small cafe / bakery by the corner was an extra bonus. Sonia was really helpful, just a message away. She accommodated our late check in. The photos don't do it justice. The apartment is even nicer.

  Sonia is an amazing host, she met us at the apartment, explained everything to us and was on hand for any eventuality. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, super clean,fantastic shower.
  The apartment is close to everything but not right in the centre which is about 15 min walk away we walked everywhere. There are amazing bakeries, a local market and a fab supermarket all within a 5 min walk.

  Roomy, high ceilings, newly remodeled, clean, laundry (washer and drying rack), coffee maker (and coffee!), large shower, lots of hot water (on-demand), spare towels, blankets, and sheets, easy to get to via public transportation, quiet neighborhood, quiet building, neighborhood marketplace around the corner, bakeries on the corner, 15 minute walk to main part of town.

  a wonderful modern apartment, great location 2 min to Wisla river, 15 mins to Wawel and 20 mins to Rynek, had every comfort we needed. We were two friends here for a study course so having 2 hand basins and plenty of shelving in the bathroom was a real bonus. Also enjoyed having the balcony. Host Sonja welcomed us in person and explained everything, was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this property

  Very convenient and clean apartment with everything you may need. The property is very near to the city center, you reach the old downtown in 10 min by foot. A lot of parks nearby, the market with fresh fruits, the tram station almost in front of the door.

  We spent 18 nights at this place. It was very comfortable to communicate with the host, arrange a time to pick up the keys and solve all questions we have. The apartment is full of light with a nice balcony. All utilities are new. The heat was adjustable (a big plus if you visit Krakow in winter or early spring). A big fridge with a freezer, cooking surface, oven, teapot, and the coffee machine was so comfortable to have for a longer stay. Fully functional kitchen and bathroom.
  Matrasses in 2 bedrooms were also comfortable to sleep on.
  Highly recommend this apartment and will definitely book it during my next visit to Krakow!

  Bardzo miła i pomocna Pani, która opiekowała się apartamentem. Apartament czysty, przestronny, cichy, ładnie urządzony, dobrze wyposażony. Znajduje się na drugim piętrze – bez widny, ale taki urok kamiennicy. niedaleko od centrum (akurat na spacer przy brzegu Wisły z widokiem na Wawel, ale jest też tramwaj). Bardzo blisko sklepy w stylu Lewiatan/Carrefour Expres/Żabka. Polecam.
