When I first walked into the lobby, my initial thought was “okay, this is comfortable” rather than “wow, fancy.” The kind of place where the front desk staff actually remembers your name by day two, which you know what, matters more than marble floors when you’re dealing with travel stress.

The rooms are what I’d call thoughtfully simple – clean lines, decent beds that don’t leave you with a backache, and those little touches that show someone’s paying attention. The shower pressure is actually solid (I mean, we’ve all been in those sad hotel showers where you’re basically getting misted), and the windows open properly if you’re like me and can’t sleep in stuffy rooms. I noticed they’ve got good blackout curtains too, which saved me during those summer months when the sun’s up at ridiculous hours. The Wi-Fi doesn’t drop every five minutes either – seems basic, but you’d be surprised how many places mess this up.

What really got me though was how the place feels once you settle in. It’s got that sweet spot vibe where business travelers aren’t stressed and families aren’t chaos – everyone just seems… relaxed. The breakfast area gets busy around 8 AM, but if you’re an early riser like me, 7:30 is perfect for actually enjoying your coffee in peace. And speaking of coffee, theirs doesn’t taste like it was made yesterday, which honestly puts them ahead of half the hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff genuinely seems to like working there, which you can tell immediately – they’ll point you toward the good local spots instead of just handing you a generic tourist map. I got some solid restaurant recommendations that way, places I never would’ve found otherwise. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury amenities, but sometimes you just want a place that gets the basics right and doesn’t charge you extra for every little thing. Hotel Kolna does exactly that.

  We enjoyed our short stay at maximum! The pool was excellent and the breakfast and the room! The personnel was very welcoming and helpful.

  We were here the first time with my family. The hotel was selected for his location (on the edge of city, enough parking places, pool, pleasant atmosphere and I will not lie – the price. The communication went smoothly (sometimes we bumped on language barier – Czech, English and Polish, but nothing what couldn't be solved). I felt worry (from some reviews) about quality of the beds, but in our case was everything clean and in order. Is true that the mattresses were a bit soft, but nothing terrible (in home I have really hard). The staff was friendly and tried to help, however they have a limited option to offer so they can't do much about. Wi-Fi connection was stable and enough even for my confcall with camera. Food was in accordance of our expectations. From our perspective we do not have a trouble visit hotel again.
