Indygo Apartment Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Indygo Apartment on Skawińska Street, you immediately know you’ve picked the right spot. This three-star property sits right in the heart of Old Town Kraków, and I mean literally — you’re about a three-minute walk from the Main Market Square. The building itself has that classic Kraków charm, tucked into a quiet residential street that somehow manages to feel peaceful despite being so central.
The Perfect Location
Honestly, the location is what makes this place special. You’re close enough to hear the Hejnał trumpet call from St. Mary’s Basilica if you listen carefully, but far enough from the main tourist chaos to actually get some sleep. I’ve stayed in plenty of Old Town spots, and this one strikes that perfect balance — you can stumble back from dinner at Pod Aniołami in five minutes, but you won’t have drunk tourists singing outside your window at 2 AM. The couples who stay here absolutely love it, and I get why — there’s something romantic about wandering these cobblestone streets together, especially when you’re staying somewhere that feels authentically local.
The Apartment Experience
The apartment itself is well-designed for a three-star property. You get a proper kitchenette setup, which is actually useful here — the local markets are fantastic, and picking up some oscypek cheese and fresh bread for breakfast beats hotel buffets any day. The room layout makes smart use of the space, and while it’s not huge, it feels comfortable rather than cramped. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays, even though you’re in the middle of everything. The modern amenities blend seamlessly with traditional Polish architecture, creating an atmosphere that’s both comfortable and authentic.
Getting Around
You know what’s great about staying here? You barely need transportation. Wawel Castle is a pleasant fifteen-minute walk through the old streets, and the Jewish Quarter in Kazimierz is maybe twenty minutes on foot. If you’re driving, parking in this area can be tricky — but honestly, once you’re here, you won’t want to use your car anyway. The trams are right there if you need them, but most of what you’ll want to see is walkable. The pedestrian-friendly streets make exploring effortless, and you’ll discover hidden courtyards and charming cafes around every corner.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.6 rating makes sense when you experience the place yourself. It’s not trying to be something it isn’t — no fancy spa or elaborate restaurant — but it delivers exactly what you need for exploring Kraków. The staff actually knows the neighborhood and can point you toward the good pierogi spots that tourists usually miss. Plus, there’s something satisfying about staying in a real apartment rather than a cookie-cutter hotel room. You feel more like a temporary local than a visitor, which is exactly what you want in a city like this. The thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality make each stay memorable and personal.
Hotel in Krakow booking should be done early, especially during summer season when the city hosts internationally acclaimed cultural festivals and medieval celebrations.

This compact apartment proved to be an excellent alternative to a hotel during our 5-night stay. The kitchen and the inclusion of a hairdryer and straightener was a real bonus. The washing machine was a convenient feature, and although drying space was limited, clothes dried quickly thanks to the efficient heating system.

I stayed with a friend and it was useful to have a sofa bed so we could have a bed each.
For us, the location was great with everything we wanted to see in the city, a walkable distance. Lots of mini supermarkets within a few minutes walk.
Great to have a fridge to store some food/drink.
Lovely, clean apartment, the space was sufficient for us.
It was a nice surprise to find a hairdryer & hair straighteners in the bathroom.Mahmoud from Poland (1/10)
