Look, I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to this place on Zabłocie street, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. “InPoint Zablocie Modern Apartments” sounds like something a computer would generate, you know? But actually stepping inside? Well, that’s where things got interesting. The lobby has this clean, almost minimalist vibe that immediately tells you someone put real thought into the design. It’s not trying too hard to be fancy, but there’s definitely attention to detail – the kind of place where business travelers won’t feel out of place, but it doesn’t have that sterile corporate hotel feel either.

What really won me over, though, was the location situation. Zabłocie used to be this old industrial area that most tourists would drive right through to get somewhere else, but honestly, it’s become one of Krakow’s coolest neighborhoods. You’re literally a ten-minute walk from the main square (I timed it), but you’re staying in this area where locals actually live and work. There’s something refreshing about grabbing coffee at the little café around the corner and not being surrounded by tour groups at 8 AM. The Vistula river is right there too – I mean, you can see it from some of the rooms – and if you’re into that morning jog thing, the riverbank path is perfect for it. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the tram connections are actually fantastic. The number 6 tram stops practically at your doorstep and takes you straight into the heart of everything.

The apartments themselves hit that sweet spot between hotel comfort and actually feeling like you could live there for a while. Each unit has a proper kitchenette (not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation), which honestly saved me a fortune during my week-long stay. The Wi-Fi is solid – I spent entire afternoons working from the desk without any issues, and the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering you’re in a city. I was on the third floor facing the courtyard, and honestly, I barely heard any street noise even with the windows open. The only minor thing I’d mention is that check-in can be a bit confusing if you arrive after hours – they use this keypad system that works perfectly fine, but the instructions could be clearer. Small detail, really. What I appreciated most was how the whole place feels authentic to Krakow without trying to be some tourist fantasy version of Poland. You’re staying in a real neighborhood, getting a genuine feel for how the city actually works, but with all the comfort and convenience you need. That 8.5 rating makes total sense to me – it’s the kind of place you’d actually want to return to, not just survive a few nights in.

  Bed is very comfortable, everything is clean, beautiful interior. It was easy to find, location is convenient. Safe private underground parking. Very soundproof apartment, could sleep longer hours without being disturbed. Would recommend to others and would come back again. Loved it!

  What could be improved: The apartment was poorly equipped. There weren’t enough mugs for everyone — I even had to buy two myself, which I left there. The kitchen utensils were old and poorly maintained. Several items were damaged, including the TV screen, a cabinet, and the curtains. The apartment is also extremely noisy, located right at the corner of two busy avenues.

  Zaletą jest cena wynajmu. Przestronny apartament, czysty, nowocześnie wykończony. Pościel świeża, łazienka pachnąca. Agd/rtv sprawne. Wyposażenie aneksu kuchennego na zadowalającym poziomie. Łatwy dojazd komunikacją miejską.
