Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Krakow apartments, and Józefitów Apartament honestly surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away on this quiet street in Krowodrza – which, if you’re not familiar with the area, is one of those neighborhoods that feels properly residential but you’re still close enough to walk into the Old Town without your feet hating you afterward. The building itself has that solid, understated Polish architecture that doesn’t try too hard, you know? When I first pulled up (and yes, there’s actually decent parking nearby, which anyone who’s driven in Krakow will tell you is basically winning the lottery), I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior, but stepping inside was a different story entirely.

The apartment itself feels like someone actually lives there – not in a messy way, but in that comfortable, thought-out way where everything makes sense. The furniture isn’t trying to be Instagram-perfect, it’s just genuinely nice stuff that you’d want in your own place. What really got me was the attention to details that matter when you’re actually staying somewhere for more than a night. The kitchen has proper knives, not those useless things most rentals stick you with, and the shower pressure… well, let’s just say I didn’t have to do that awkward dance trying to rinse shampoo out of my hair. The windows are decent quality too, which matters because even though Józefitów is pretty quiet, you still get some street noise during the day – but nothing that’ll wake you up at night.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the location gives you options. You can walk down to the Vistula riverbank in about ten minutes, which is perfect for morning runs or just clearing your head after too much pierogi. The tram connections are solid if you want to explore other parts of the city, and there’s this little bakery about three blocks away that does these incredible pączki (I mean, it’s Poland, but still worth mentioning). The whole area feels like actual Krakow life, not tourist Krakow, if that makes sense. You’ll see people walking their dogs, kids playing in the courtyards, that sort of thing. It’s earned that 4-star rating honestly – not because it’s flashy, but because everything just works the way it should. For the price point and that 8.5 rating, you’re getting solid value without any nasty surprises.

  Excellent recently renovated and equipped apartment, in well maintained old building. Good location, 15 minutes of nice walk to old town, along one of the main streets with lot of content (market stores, restaurants, fast food and bakeries). Actually, there are one grocery store, nice wine bar and fast food restaurant in immediate surrounding, across the street. Few minutes away from public transport (tram and bus stations).
  Pleasant, communicative and very helpful host regarding all necessary instructions and additional questions.
  
  What could be improved: Pillows and blanket could be slightly bigger or few more added. Bathroom could be improved with some additional amenities like soap holders in the shower or electric ventilation.

  Really great place to stay, was very clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had a good selection of pots and pans etc. The location was good, about a 20min walk to the centre of town.
  
  What could be improved: It would have been good if the kitchen had some essential ingredients like oil, salt and pepper as everyone will use them but can't quite justify buying them for just a few days! Apart from that everything was perfect

  – Clear instructions for check-in.
  – Spacious apartment with what you need.
  – Location is good, I like a short walk to the centre.

  – Multiple heating and cooling devices.
  – Generally quiet.
  – TV has Netflix and YouTube.
  – Sofa was very deep and quite comfy.
  
  What could be improved: – The cleaning wasn't done as well as it could have been; there were some nuts between the cushions of the sofa, some cutlery wasn't clean, and there were a bunch of towels left in the washing machine.
  – The night going into Independence Day, the apartment next door kept me awake the entire night (they stopped partying at 8am and my wall banging achieved nothing but mocking laughter from the resident Poles).
  – The dishwasher tab doesn't work, at least not in eco mode. Which freshened things up but didn't clean them – explaining why the existing cutlery wasn't clean clean. A change of tab could solve this.
  – I contacted mgmt regarding next door and they didn't seem to care; kinda hands-off and didn't ask why I was enquiring. They were great when it came to getting into the place, however.
  – The duvet is smaller than the bed, with the latter getting more uncomfortable the longer I stayed – good luck trying to find a mattress in Krakow that isn't brick-like.
  – Some mirror lightbulbs need changing.
  – Just two small loo rolls for ten days.

  Bardzo wygodny, wyjątkowo urządzony apartament. Klimatyzacja daje komfort w upalne dni. Pościel i ręczniki czyściutkie. Łóżko szerokie, bardzo wygodne. W aneksie kuchennym niczego nie brakuje a łazienka lśni czystością, zresztą jak cały apartament. Polecam i dziękuję właścicielom za dbanie o klienta
