The location is honestly what sold me on this place. You’re literally a 3-minute walk from the main square – I mean, you can practically hear the trumpet call from St. Mary’s if you open your windows in the morning. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: being on Radziwiłłowska means you’re tucked away from the main tourist chaos while still being right in the thick of everything. The street itself is quiet enough that you won’t have drunk groups stumbling past your window at 2 AM (trust me, that matters in Krakow’s Old Town). What’s really convenient – and I discovered this by accident – is that you can cut through the little courtyard passages to get to Floriańska Street in about two minutes, which locals use as a shortcut to avoid the crowds on the main drag.

The apartment itself feels more like staying in someone’s well-maintained city flat than a typical hotel, which I actually prefer. The Heritage House clearly knows what they’re doing – everything works properly, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and honestly, the 8.3 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there. It’s not fancy, but it’s thoughtfully set up. The kitchen area is small but functional (great if you want to grab some pierogi from the market and heat them up), and the bathroom actually has decent water pressure, which… well, you know how hit-or-miss that can be in these old buildings. One minor thing – the stairs are a bit steep if you’re on an upper floor, but that’s pretty standard for Old Town buildings that are centuries old.

What I really appreciated was how genuinely local the area feels despite being so central. There’s this great little bakery about 30 seconds away where the woman behind the counter doesn’t speak much English but makes incredible szarlotka, and you’ll find yourself walking past actual Krakovians going about their daily business instead of just tour groups. The train station connection the name mentions is real, by the way – it’s maybe a 12-minute walk to Kraków Główny, which is actually perfect timing if you’re doing day trips to places like Wieliczka or Auschwitz. You’re close enough that you don’t need to stress about timing, but far enough that you’re not dealing with all the train station noise and activity.

  Really good place, perfect location (near old town, main railway station and shopping mol). Ideal for 2 people or small company (additional place for sleeping), kitchen is good equipt and clean, fridge, dishwasher, oven and also washing machine. Quite place and very friendly and helpful staff. I definitely will book it for my next trip to Krakow together with friends.

  What could be improved: Los utensilios de cocina estaban un poco sucios. En la habitación de arriba no te puedes poner de pie, ya que es muy baja y la cama era muy dura.

  Bardzo dobra lokalizacja – od biedy nawet miejsce do parkowania by się znalazło 🙂
  Duży plus dla gospodarzy za ogromne ilości kawy i expres na kapsułki!
  Świetne rozwiązanie jeśli chodzi o aranżację miejsca. Stara kamienica, ale antresola – i na upartego można próbować organizować pobyt większą grupą niż dwie osoby.
  Ogromna lodówka, pralka, przybory kuchenne… telewizor z popularną platformą do oglądania filmów i seriali…
  Jeśli ktoś lubi kolej – to bliskie sąsiedztwo bocznic kolejowych… jeśli ktoś nie lubi – to ma problem… 😉 chociaż generalnie – nie jest to kłopotliwe i w zgiełku dużego miasta nawet tramwaje są głośniejsze i komunikacja samochodowa.
  Bardzo cicha okolica, jednak blisko do rynku oraz stacji PKP.

  Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, blisko do dworca PKP Kraków, blisko do centrum , na starówkę. W lokalu w zasadzie wszystko co potrzebne do dłuższego, kilkudniowego zamieszkania dla rodziny jest pod ręką, wyposażona kuchnia, pralka.
  
  What could be improved: Brak parkingu, ale można za opłatą zaparkować na ulicy w pobliżu apartamentu. Trochę ciasnawo w środku, jakieś dodatkowe andresole.
