The ceilings are higher than you’d expect, and there’s this industrial-chic thing happening that doesn’t feel forced. You’ll notice exposed brick in some units (though not all, so ask if that’s your thing), and the furniture has that carefully curated vintage look that actually seems comfortable rather than just Instagram-worthy. What really got me was the attention to lighting – they’ve got these warm Edison bulbs throughout that make evening feels genuinely cozy. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious too, with rainfall showers that actually have decent water pressure.

Now, it’s officially a 3-star place, but honestly the experience feels more upscale than that rating suggests. Maybe it’s because the staff genuinely seems to care about what they’re doing – check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about late checkout, they were flexible without making it feel like a huge favor. The common areas have this lived-in sophistication that reminds me of a friend’s really well-designed apartment rather than a hotel lobby. You’ll find guests actually hanging out in these spaces with laptops or books, which says something about how comfortable they’ve made it. One small thing that stood out – they stock the rooms with locally roasted coffee, not those generic packets you usually get. It’s details like that which make you realize someone’s actually thinking about the guest experience rather than just checking boxes.

The location works well for exploring on foot, though I’d recommend getting specific directions since the entrance can be a bit tricky to spot if you’re arriving after dark. Parking isn’t included, but there are decent options nearby if you’re driving. The neighborhood has that slightly gritty-but-safe urban vibe – you know, the kind of area where you’ll find good coffee shops and interesting restaurants without tourist markup. I noticed it gets pretty quiet at night, which is perfect if you’re a light sleeper but might feel too subdued if you’re looking for nightlife right outside your door. That 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’ve stayed here – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it does what it does really well, and you end up feeling like you got more than you paid for.

  Bit hot, found it hard to manage heating system!!
  Excellent location, 5 min walk from Old Town Square.
  We were early in and late flight out. Baggage storage for The Loft is a good 10 to 15 min walk from the apartment. We used Uber, but somewhere better located for luggage storage .
  A few leaflets on some tourist information would have been good aswell.
  One or two tweaks and we would have given the Apartment 10 out of 10, but would definitely recommend 👌🏻
