Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Native Apartments on Augustiańska? It’s this perfectly quiet street that somehow sits right in the heart of Old Town without all the tourist chaos. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the Main Square, but when you step outside in the morning, you’re not dodging selfie sticks and tour groups. The building itself has that classic Krakow character – thick walls, high ceilings, the kind of place where you actually feel like you’re staying somewhere with history instead of just another generic hotel room.

The apartments themselves are honestly impressive for a four-star place. Everything feels thoughtfully put together rather than just thrown in there to fill space. The kitchens are actually functional (I’ve stayed in too many “apartment hotels” where the kitchen is basically decorative), and the wifi works properly – which, let’s be real, matters more than we want to admit. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. Old Town can be pretty lively, especially during summer weekends, but Augustiańska stays relatively peaceful. You might hear some distant music from Floriańska Street, but it’s more atmospheric than annoying. The staff clearly knows what they’re doing too – check-in was smooth, and they had solid recommendations for restaurants that weren’t just the obvious tourist traps.

Here’s the thing that makes this place work so well: the location gives you options. You can walk to Wawel Castle in about ten minutes if you cut through the side streets, or head the other direction toward Kazimierz for dinner. There’s a decent grocery store on Św. Tomasza if you want to stock up the apartment, and honestly, some of my favorite meals in Krakow came from just grabbing local ingredients and cooking at the place. The tram stop on Basztowa is close enough when you need it, but far enough that you don’t hear it constantly. I stayed there in late September – perfect timing, actually, because the crowds had thinned out but the weather was still nice for walking around. The 9.3 rating makes sense when you consider it hits that sweet spot of being comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced without trying too hard to be fancy. It’s the kind of place where you settle in and actually feel like you’re living in Krakow for a few days instead of just passing through.

  The room was big and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was pretty great; we couldn't hear any noise from the street. It is located in the Jewish district, so despite not being super close to the downtown city centre, you'll always want to be around this area to grab the best dinner options.
  
  A good kitchen if you are planning to do some small cooking.
  
  What could be improved: I don't recommend choosing breakfast. It was delivered to the door every single day, and it wasn't that good. There are nearby options that will be better if you have 5 extra minutes to spare.
  
  Getting the keys wasn't super easy because the person at reception didn't speak English and there was a problem with the room code, but after some bumps we were able to get the keys to the apartment

  Amazing location, super friendly hosts who were in regular contact with us prior to arriving. This place is a real gem in a quiet part of the city yet only 5-10 mins walk from the centre. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking at travelling to Krakow.

  Very good location.
  Electronic lock, so did not have to stress about losing the keys 😊

  Very nice apartment for 2 people, simply decorated. Location is perfect and you can easily walk to any point of the city. Breakfast is also good, it comes from a small bakery near by and it is delivered every morning with freshly products. Easy to get in contact with the owners. We wanted to make the check-in earlier than 3 pm and they have arranged it for us in a quick manner. It has been a fantastic stay and Krakow is an amazing city to discover!
