You know what struck me first about Native Apartments Pułaskiego 6? It’s this perfect sweet spot where you feel like you’re living in Kraków, not just visiting it. The building sits right in Dębniki – honestly, one of those neighborhoods that locals love but tourists somehow miss. I mean, you’re literally a ten-minute walk from Wawel Castle, but instead of dodging selfie sticks on every corner, you’re strolling past actual Polish families heading to the corner bakery.

The apartments themselves are what I’d call “grown-up stylish” – you know, the kind of place where everything actually works and looks good without trying too hard. The kitchens are properly equipped (not just a mini-fridge and a prayer), which is clutch if you hit up the little market on Starowiślna street and want to make breakfast with actual Polish bread and cheese. The windows are these tall, old-school European ones that let in gorgeous light, though honestly, if you’re a super light sleeper, you might want earplugs – it’s a city, and there’s some street noise in the mornings. Nothing crazy, just… urban life happening outside.

What really gets me is the location – Pułaskiego street itself is quiet enough that you can actually sleep, but step out the door and you’re in the thick of things. The Vistula riverbank is right there (perfect for morning runs, if that’s your thing), and getting into the Old Town is this pleasant walk across the river where you pass all these little spots that guidebooks never mention. There’s this tiny café on Dietla that does incredible coffee, and a wine bar tucked away on Krakowska that’s become my go-to evening spot. The tram connections are solid too – actually, the whole area feels connected without being touristy, if that makes sense. You’ll see more Polish conversations than English ones, which honestly makes the whole experience feel more authentic. The 9.3 rating doesn’t surprise me at all – these guys clearly get that travelers want nice spaces in real neighborhoods, not just proximity to the main square. It’s the kind of place where you end up staying an extra day just because leaving feels like you’re saying goodbye to a temporary home rather than checking out of a hotel.

  Everything was close, it's a very cheap accomodation within europe, beds were really comfortable

  What could be improved: The score would have been 10 if it weren't for the following. We have a pet peeve with hosts who "save" on silly details. The apartment is equipped with a dishwasher, but only a couple dishwasher tablets were provided. Also, the apartment has a washing machine, but no detergent was provided. These are things which you can't buy in small quantities (as a guest), and are a hassle to go buy in a foreign city (especially for a short stay), but is minimal expense to the host. We always appreciate when such details are taken care of by the host. I know that to many people this will sound too nit-picky, so if you don't mind this, you can easily regard this review as a 10, as everything else was very nice. Also, there was no AC (perhaps it is mentioned in the listing, I'm not sure). It wasn't a problem because it wasn't very hot outside.
