The thing about being right by the main railway station is that you’d think it would be all noise and chaos, but they’ve somehow managed to create this little oasis that feels removed from all that. The apartments themselves are solid – nothing fancy, but everything works the way it should, and the AC (which, let’s be honest, is right there in the name) actually keeps things comfortable even during those brutal summer months. I stayed here in July and slept like a baby, which is saying something because I’m usually pretty sensitive to street noise. The windows do a surprisingly good job of keeping the sound down, though you’ll still hear the occasional late train if you’re a really light sleeper.

What I really appreciated was how thoughtfully set up everything is. The kitchenette has actual useful stuff in it – not just the bare minimum that most places throw in. And being in Old Town means you’re walking distance from pretty much everything worth seeing, but without paying those crazy historic center prices. There’s this little grocery store about two blocks away that locals actually use (not one of those tourist traps), and the morning coffee crowd there will give you better recommendations than any concierge. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that endless paperwork or awkward small talk, just quick, efficient, and friendly. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak season, I’ll be honest, but there’s street parking if you circle around a bit, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you probably won’t need your car much anyway. The whole area is just really walkable, and the train connections are obviously fantastic if you’re planning day trips. I ended up extending my stay by two nights because it just felt like such a comfortable base for exploring the region.
