Look, when I first heard the name “Penthouse II Harmonica,” I honestly thought someone was messing with me. I mean, what kind of hotel name is that? But you know what – after spending three nights there, the name actually started to make sense in this weird, artistic way that I can’t quite explain.

The place has this loft vibe that hits you the moment you walk in. It’s not your typical hotel setup at all – more like staying in someone’s really cool apartment, if that someone happened to have impeccable taste and way more money than you. The ceilings are high, probably 12 feet or so, and there’s this industrial-chic thing going on with exposed elements that somehow doesn’t feel cold or sterile. The lighting is actually perfect – not too harsh, not too dim – which is rarer than you’d think in boutique places like this. I spent way too much time just sprawled on their couch working on my laptop because the whole atmosphere was just… conducive to existing, if that makes sense.

What really got me was the attention to detail. The coffee setup wasn’t some sad single-serve machine – they had proper beans and a grinder that didn’t sound like it was dying. The shower pressure was fantastic (seriously underrated hotel feature), and the bed was firm without being like sleeping on concrete. Little things matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days, and they seem to get that. The staff was refreshingly low-key too – helpful when you needed something, invisible when you didn’t. No hovering or fake enthusiasm, just genuine people who knew their stuff. Check-in was smooth, maybe five minutes total, and they actually listened when I mentioned I’m a light sleeper and needed something away from any street noise.

The 9.4 rating isn’t some inflated number either – you can feel why people love this place. It’s got character without being quirky for the sake of being quirky, and comfort without the corporate hotel blandness. Sure, it’s only rated three stars officially, but honestly, I’ve stayed in five-star places that felt way more generic and soulless than this. The whole experience just flows better here, maybe because it’s smaller and they can actually pay attention to what works and what doesn’t. I ended up extending my stay by a night because – well, partly because my flight got delayed, but mostly because I wasn’t ready to leave yet. That doesn’t happen to me often.

  Very clean and nice interior, both of the apartment and of the whole building. Big windows bring a lot of light inside, making for nice mornings and breakfasts.

  The apartment is in a great location, not far from the old town, in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Not only is the apartment very stylish and modern, but the whole house is. Pleasantly surprised by only entering through the main doors that lead to the lobby (where the security guard is), everything is clean, stylish, modern, and also smells amazing.
  
  The apartment is spacious, stylish, and very cozy. The kitchen is connected with the living room, which is nice for evening conversations with family. In the apartment, you will find everything you need in the household: all dishes, glasses, cups, pots, iron, hairdryer, etc. Also, you get some spices and oil for cooking, sugar, and coffee.
  
  Very good communication with owners; all questions (we didn‘t have many) were answered quickly and pleasantly. All the instructions were very precise and clear; there was no trouble entering the apartment or parking place.
  
  You get a parking place too (for free, in the underground parking). If you are traveling with a bigger car, like a minivan, it will be difficult to enter the underground parking. In our case, there was no problem.

  The apartments are clean, in a nice apartment complex, located in a touristy place. The ventilation works well. The furniture is comfortable. Everything is in pretty good condition. Overall I am more than satisfied.
