The thing is, this isn’t trying to be some fancy hotel with marble lobbies and doormen in white gloves. It’s more like staying at a friend’s really well-put-together apartment, if that friend happened to have excellent taste and actually cared about making you comfortable. The space feels lived-in but not worn down – you know what I mean? Like someone actually thought about where you’d want to plug in your phone at night or how annoying it is when there’s nowhere to put your coffee cup by the bed. The 9.2 rating makes total sense once you’re there because honestly, it’s those little details that matter when you’re trying to feel human while traveling.

What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night, which is sort of rare these days. I was expecting the usual city noise – sirens, late-night conversations drifting up from the street, that kind of thing. But there’s this surprising calm that settles in after about 10 PM. The walls are thick enough that you’re not hearing your neighbors’ Netflix choices, and the windows actually block out most of the street sounds. During the day though, there’s this gentle hum of neighborhood life that somehow makes the place feel more authentic rather than isolated. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward hovering while they try to upsell you on breakfast packages or room upgrades.

I actually ended up extending my stay by two nights, which I never do. There’s something about the way the light comes in during the morning that makes you want to linger over coffee instead of rushing out to hit tourist spots. The space itself has this effortless style – not Instagram-perfect, but comfortable in a way that feels genuine. You’ll find yourself noticing details like the way they’ve arranged the books on the shelf or the fact that there are actually enough towels. Three stars might sound modest on paper, but honestly, I’ve stayed at places with twice the rating that felt half as welcoming. Sometimes the best spots are the ones that don’t need to shout about how great they are.

  The accommodation was very nicely furnished and is very centrally located. It was less than a 10-minute walk to the city center. Communication with the staff was quick, easy and friendly. I can only recommend the apartment and would come again myself.

  The location is perfect as I stayed before in that area and it's 10 minutes from the square. A good few local shops around the area and tram line is near.
  The bed mattress was very comfortable and the kitchen was nice. For 7 people the place was perfect and very homey and the host which is an agency was beyond helpful and accommodating to our requests.

  We were a party of 4 people staying in Polka apartment and we all loved the property! It is exactly like the photos and the cleanliness and the location is great if you dont want any noise right outside of the apartment. It also felt safe to stay there. We recommend the pizza restaurant near the apartment for breakfast/lunch or dinner. The beds were comfortable and very clean like at the hotels. We are very used to stay at hotels and this is the first time booking an apartment and we can say that it was went over our expectations. Higly recommend!!
