Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about Premium Splendid Old Town Suites? The building itself – it’s this beautifully restored historic structure right on Krupnicza street, and honestly, you can feel the history in those thick stone walls the moment you step inside. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the main square, but somehow it feels tucked away from all the tourist chaos. The suites are run by Upstairs, and they’ve done something really smart here – instead of cramming tiny hotel rooms into this old space, they created these generous apartment-style suites that actually make sense for how people travel now. The ceilings are high (typical of these old Krakow buildings), and there’s this perfect mix of original architectural details with modern touches that don’t feel forced or overdone.
What really sets this place apart – and this is something you only figure out after staying in a few Old Town places – is how quiet it gets at night. Krupnicza isn’t one of those streets packed with late-night bars, so you can actually sleep with your windows open during the warmer months. The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood too, which sounds basic but trust me, it’s not always the case. They’ll tell you about the little courtyard café around the corner that locals use as their morning spot, or point you toward Planty Park’s less crowded entrance that’s practically at your doorstep. Speaking of practical stuff – there’s no on-site parking (pretty standard for Old Town), but they’ll sort you out with nearby options that won’t break the bank, and the tram connections are solid if you need to get to Kazimierz or the Jewish Quarter quickly.
The suites themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s really well-appointed apartment than a hotel room. I’m talking full kitchens, separate living areas, and bathrooms that actually have space to spread out your stuff – revolutionary concept, right? The design strikes this nice balance between feeling distinctly Polish (there are thoughtful local touches throughout) without being theme-y or kitschy about it. What impressed me most, though, was how the 9.3 rating actually reflects the experience. You know how sometimes highly-rated places feel like they’re coasting? Not here. The attention to detail is consistent, from the quality of the linens to how seamlessly everything works. It’s the kind of place where you find yourself thinking “okay, this is how I want to experience Krakow” – central enough that you can walk to everything that matters, comfortable enough that you want to come back and regroup between exploring, and authentic enough that it enhances rather than distracts from the whole Old Town experience.

Exceptional – Carlos from Canada – July 31, 2025 (10/10)
The place was fantastic and the staff could not be better, we have loved the city and this place, would highly recommend it.
Very Good – Antonis from Greece – July 11, 2025 (8/10)
Very good location, very well renovated (not the common areas of the building, the apartment itself). Clean.
What could be improved: The fact that they only answer messages during business hours creates problems (there is a phone but for emergencies like fire etc.). We ended up having ice cold water for 2 days. They did send someone to fix it but maybe it could have been done a little faster. It is also a bit inconvenient to have to look for a super market for toilet paper when we arrive at a place.Exceptional – Inna from Ireland – July 9, 2025 (10/10)
Everything was great, I recommend this beautiful apartment
Great location & service♥️ – Марʼяна from Ukraine – June 11, 2025 (10/10)

Perfect location in Krakow – Nadir from France – May 22, 2025 (9/10)
Perfect location nearby the rynek. All necessary amenities available in the apartment
What could be improved: A little bit tight if used at maximum capacityThis place was clean, chic, and modern , but most importantly it was right next to the historic center of city. – Richard from United States – June 28, 2024 (10/10)
I loved the location. Staying here really set the tone for an amazing trip to Krakow. We will be back and we hope to use to be able to use this place again. Btw, forget about Paris. Krakow is the best little city in Europe to walk and be surrounded by history.
Wonderful – Carolina from Colombia – June 22, 2024 (9/10)
I like too much… thanks
What could be improved: All are very Good!!Wonderful stay in Krakow – Israel from Israel – June 1, 2024 (10/10)
This apartment is one of the best of my stays as far as I can remember. The location is perfect – a few minutes by foot from the Old Town. The apartment is very comfortable and cosy, fully equipped – a real home away from home. I'm a very light sleeper, but there was peace and quiet for a perfect sleep, including very comfortable pillows.
There are a lot of nice restaurants in the vicinity, one of which – Four – is a must visit, serving divine food!Exceptional – Dusan from Serbia – May 3, 2024 (10/10)
What could be improved: BEWARE OF THE HIDDEN COSTS. they are ~40% of the price. apartment is great, new, well located, and the total price matches quality, however only after booking I saw that cleaning fee was ~100€ which is not normal.
answer lies that this is cleaning + rent agency fee.
booking ahould really tackle this way of showing the initial price and then adding 40% of costsExceptional – Marko from Finland – October 21, 2023 (10/10)
Apartment was very good for our family and good location.
