It’s got this sleek, almost minimalist vibe going on – very Polish design-forward without being cold or sterile. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of the Old Town here, so you’d expect some tourist trap vibes, but honestly, this place manages to feel both connected to the city and refreshingly modern.

The location is pretty unbeatable if you want to be in the thick of things. You’re walking distance from Florianska Gate and all those narrow cobblestone streets that wind toward the Main Square – though fair warning, those same cobblestones that look so charming can be a bit of a pain when you’re dragging luggage. The staff seemed to get this though, and check-in was smooth enough that I didn’t stress about it. What I really appreciated was how the rooms block out the street noise surprisingly well. I was worried about being kept up by late-night revelers stumbling back from the bars around Szewska Street, but the windows do their job. The room itself had this clean, contemporary feel – good lighting (finally, a hotel that gets it), comfortable bed, and a bathroom that actually had decent water pressure. Small thing, but it matters when you’ve been walking around Kraków’s medieval streets all day.

Here’s the thing that really won me over – the whole place just feels intentional. Like someone actually thought about what travelers need rather than just checking boxes. The common areas have this energy where you might strike up a conversation with fellow guests, but you can also find quiet spots if you need to decompress. And honestly, with a 9.1 rating, I get why people keep coming back. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it nails the balance between being comfortable and keeping you connected to why you came to Kraków in the first place. You can grab coffee in the morning and be at Cloth Hall in five minutes, or walk the other direction toward Kazimierz when you want to explore the Jewish quarter. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s one of those places that actually enhances your trip rather than just giving you a place to sleep.

  The rooms are really cozy and the hotel is located in a great area, close to the center and across the main train station. There was a machine that we could get coffee, hot chocolate and tea 24/7 for free, which we appreciated a lot. The staff was really kind and helpful.
