Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard “WAWELOFTS” I thought someone was trying way too hard with the name. But you know what? This place actually delivers on the luxury apartment promise, even if it’s technically a 3-star spot. The location in Kraków’s Old Town is what really sells it – you’re walking distance from Wawel Castle (hence the name, I guess), and you can literally hear the horse-drawn carriages clattering over cobblestones in the morning.

The apartments themselves feel more like someone’s well-appointed city pad than a hotel room. I mean, there’s actual kitchen space where you can make coffee that doesn’t taste like cardboard, which honestly saved me about 20 złoty a day. The furnishings hit that sweet spot between modern and trying-too-hard-to-be-historic – none of that fake medieval stuff you see everywhere else in the Old Town. What impressed me most was how quiet it stays despite being right in the thick of things. The windows are proper thick, so even when the late-night revelers are stumbling back from the bars on Floriańska Street, you’re not hearing every conversation.

Here’s the thing though – and this is important – parking is going to be your nemesis if you’re driving. The Old Town streets weren’t exactly designed for cars, so plan accordingly or just take the tram from the airport like everyone else. The 7.9 rating makes sense to me because while everything works and looks good, it’s not going to blow your mind. It’s solid, reliable, and the kind of place where you actually want to hang out in your room for a bit rather than just crash and run. Plus, you’re maybe a five-minute walk to the main square, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the tourist crowd every time you step outside. If you’re the type who likes having your own space but still wants to be in the heart of everything, this hits the mark pretty well.

  It was confusing as to how to get into the apartment, security did not speak one word of English. More explanation should be given regarding the secure key box. We had no idea the keys were in a small box next to the apartment & that is were the key code numbers needed to be inputted.

  It was an excellent location, about 15 minute walk from the centre of town. The host provided some amenities included dishwasher and washing tablets and the property was spacious and relatively comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent.

  Apartment is on very good location, close to main train station and 15min walk to old town. It is new and has almost all you need for short or longer stay.

  The main bedroom was occupied by 2 friends (a married couple) who told me the mattress was rather uncomfortable.
