The thing that surprised me most was how quiet it gets at night, considering it’s in a pretty active area. I’m usually a light sleeper and was worried about street noise, but honestly, once you close the windows (which actually seal properly, thank goodness), it’s peaceful enough. The rooms have this lived-in comfort that I actually prefer over those sterile chain hotels – you’ve got real furniture that doesn’t look like it came from the same catalog as every other place. The kitchenette setup is legit too, not just some mini-fridge with a hot plate. I actually cooked breakfast a couple mornings, which saved me from hunting down overpriced coffee shops first thing.

What really works here is the practical stuff that matters when you’re staying somewhere longer than a night or two. There’s decent water pressure in the shower, the WiFi doesn’t cut out every ten minutes, and – this might sound weird but it matters – the bed is actually big enough that you’re not rolling off the edge. The 7.6 rating makes sense to me; it’s not going to blow your mind, but there’s nothing that’ll ruin your trip either. I did notice the air conditioning takes forever to kick in during the afternoon, so if you’re there in summer, maybe give it a head start before you actually need it. The front desk staff knows their stuff too – they gave me solid recommendations for places to eat that weren’t just the tourist traps, and when I had an issue with the TV remote (totally my fault, I’m hopeless with technology), they sorted it out without making me feel like an idiot. Look, it’s not the fanciest place you’ll ever stay, but if you want somewhere that feels more like a temporary home base than a hotel room, Scarlett Apartment delivers on that front.

  The property was a very quirky little apartment which was apt for our 4 night stay. It had all necessary equipment & facilities.

  Some eateries near by, mainly bakeries & late night kebab houses etc.

  The apartment has really interesting vintage style. It’s close to bus and tram stations where you can take a transport and go everywhere you need. There are a lot of places to eat and some supermarkets if you need to take something extra. Apartment has everything you need, very well equipped. The heating works well, you won't be cold. The owner responds quickly
