Tyzenhauz Apartments Comfort Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Tyzenhauz Apartments Comfort on Świętego Sebastiana street, you immediately understand why this place gets such high marks from travelers. You’re literally steps away from the main square — you could hear the horse-drawn carriages clattering past on the cobblestones from your window. The building itself has that classic Kraków charm, tucked right into the medieval streetscape without trying too hard to announce itself. The elegant facade blends seamlessly with the historic architecture surrounding it, creating an authentic atmosphere that transports you back in time.
Location Magic
Honestly, the location is what makes this place special. You’re in the absolute heart of Kraków’s Old Town, which sounds touristy until you realize what that actually means for your daily routine. The famous Cloth Hall is a two-minute walk, and St. Mary’s Basilica is practically within reach. You can duck into Planty Park (that green ring around the old city) whenever the crowds get overwhelming, and there are little side streets with authentic Polish restaurants that most tourists never find. The cobblestone pathways lead you through centuries of history, with every corner revealing new architectural treasures and hidden courtyards that showcase the city’s rich cultural heritage.
The Apartment Experience
The apartment setup works really well, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights. Your unit has a proper kitchen with everything you’d need — not just a mini-fridge and microwave situation. The room feels more spacious than typical hotel accommodations, and you’ll appreciate having a separate living area where you can spread out with maps and guidebooks. It’s a three-star property, so don’t expect marble bathrooms or fancy amenities, but everything is clean and functional. The thoughtful layout maximizes space while maintaining comfort, with modern furnishings that complement the building’s historic character perfectly.
Breakfast and Practical Matters
Parking can be tricky in the Old Town, but honestly, you won’t need a car here anyway. The tram system connects you to everything outside the center, and within the old city, walking is your best bet. The continental breakfast covers the basics — fresh bread, local cheeses, and decent coffee that’ll get you going for a day of sightseeing. Vegetarian options are also available, which isn’t always a given in this part of Europe. The staff provides helpful recommendations for local attractions and can assist with transportation arrangements when needed.
Why Guests Love It
Couples absolutely rave about this place, and after staying here, the appeal becomes clear. There’s something romantic about having your own little apartment in one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval cities. You can grab fresh bread and local wine, cook a simple dinner, then step outside for an evening stroll through lamp-lit streets that haven’t changed much in centuries. The 9.6 location score reflects the reality — you really are in the sweet spot where you can experience authentic Kraków life while being surrounded by incredible architecture and history. It’s that perfect balance of independence and immersion that makes a trip memorable, offering guests the freedom to explore at their own pace while enjoying all the comforts of home.
Krakow’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with historical character, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this beautifully preserved Polish city.

The apartment was amazing, everything you needed for self catering! We had 5 nights here and didn’t find we was missing anything. We didn’t use the oven, but did have a couple lunches and tea in the apartment. Amazed at how much cleaning products were provided, didn’t have to buy anything! Lovely balcony with a view, was a bit cold to sit out there long but did use it after doing long walks. The apartment was easy to find and close to the centre, about 10 mins and you’re in the main square.
