Studio Na Powiślu Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Studio Na Powiślu, you immediately get that “I’m staying somewhere special” feeling — and honestly, it’s not just because you’re literally in the heart of Old Town Kraków. This three-star property sits on Powiśle street, which puts you right in the thick of everything without the tourist trap chaos. The building itself has that classic Polish charm, and when you step inside, there’s this cozy, intimate vibe that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks missed.
Location Magic
Here’s what I love about this spot — you’re actually positioned perfectly between the main square and the Vistula River, which means you get the best of both worlds. The location score of 9.6 isn’t just marketing fluff; couples especially seem to fall for this area (they rate it 9.5, which is pretty telling). You can walk to Wawel Castle in about ten minutes, hit the main square in five, and when you need a break from the crowds, the riverside parks are right there. I mean, you’re literally staying where locals would choose to live if they could afford Old Town rent.
The Space Itself
The studio setup works really well here — it’s not trying to be something it’s not, just a well-designed space that maximizes every square meter. Your room feels thoughtfully arranged rather than cramped, and there’s enough character in the details to keep things interesting. The windows let in great light during the day, and honestly, the view depends on which way you’re facing, but even the courtyard views have their charm. You know what surprised me? How quiet it gets at night, considering you’re smack in the middle of everything.
Daily Rhythms
Mornings here are pretty special — you wake up and within minutes you can be grabbing coffee from one of those tiny local cafés that tourists walk right past. The 8.8 rating makes sense when you experience how smoothly everything runs; check-in is straightforward, the place is spotless, and if you need anything, someone’s always around to help. What I really appreciate is how they’ve managed to keep that local feel while still hitting all the practical marks that travelers actually care about.
Why Guests Love It
This place gets it right because it doesn’t oversell itself — it’s just a really solid choice in an unbeatable location. You’re not paying for fancy amenities you won’t use; instead, you’re investing in being exactly where you want to be in Kraków. The fact that couples consistently rave about the location tells you something important — this is the kind of place where you can actually enjoy the city rather than spending half your time getting to it. When you can walk out your door and be at the heart of one of Europe’s most beautiful medieval cities in minutes, well, that’s worth more than any hotel spa or fancy lobby.

We really enjoyed how simple and clean the apartment was. We enjoyed being able to cook simple meals, have a nice shower and relax on the balcony after a long day of hiking.
The hosts were very very nice and super helpful.
Highly recommend.Marie from United Kingdom (9/10)
The property is basic but nice and clean and everything we needed for a long weekend in Poland. Only a short walk to the old town which is lovely and close to supermarket. Our flight back wasn’t until evening and the owner allowed us to keep the room on until we needed to leave in the evening as no one else was due in after us, this was very helpful and much appreciated!

The apartment is in an excellent location. Just beside the river and Wawel castle. There are plenty of smaller shops and places to eat at, nearby. Old town is a short walk away.
The apartment has everything you need: a small kitchen, TV, a wardrobe, etc. The checkin-checkout went smoothly.Martínková from Czech Republic (8/10)
