You know what struck me first about the Szeroka View Apartment? It’s not just the name-dropping about being on Szeroka Street – this place actually delivers on that prime location promise. I mean, you’re literally steps from the heart of Kazimierz, and honestly, that matters more than you might think when you’re dragging luggage through cobblestone streets after a long travel day.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s stylish cousin decided to rent out their place (in the best possible way). It’s got that lived-in elegance that’s so much better than sterile hotel rooms – actual books on shelves, decent lighting for reading, a kitchen that looks like people cook in it rather than just existing for show. The view they’re talking about? Well, you’re getting genuine Old Town atmosphere, not some manufactured tourist experience. Early mornings are particularly nice when the street’s quiet and you can actually hear church bells instead of tour groups. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s polished and comfortable without trying too hard to be fancy.

What I really appreciated was how the place sits in the neighborhood. You’ve got Plac Nowy just around the corner (seriously, those zapiekanka stands are worth the trip alone), and you’re close enough to the main square that you can walk there easily, but far enough that you’re not dealing with the constant crowds and street noise. Parking can be tricky – I mean, it’s the Old Town, what do you expect – but the hosts actually know the area and can point you toward options that won’t break the bank. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward key-juggling you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The 9.5 rating makes sense when you consider how many little things they get right – good water pressure, reliable wifi, blackout curtains that actually block light, proper hangers in the closet. It’s those details that separate a great stay from just an adequate one, you know?

  The location, the owner responded to my emails very quickly, good clear instructions to get into the property. The owner decorated a room as a surprise for my husbands 60th too. Apartment clean and had everything we needed.

  The location of this apartment was excellent it was clean. Great bars and restaurants in the area, supermarket close. Easy walking to old town and attractions. Good transport systems.
  
  What could be improved: I had a problem with my emails on the day of arrival so had a problem on arrival at apartment. I thought someone would meet us with keys. But I ended up having to phone booking.com which took quite a bit of time and meant we were standing outside in the cold for some time. When I did get connected I received great service. It would have been helpful if I had received key pad information the day before.
  The apartment could do with information on recycling info. The oven needs a grill tray. The shower plug needs cleaning as it was not draining away quick enough.

  Fantastic location overlooking Old synagogue, nice pub next door and restaurants in the square plus a little "Zabka" shop

  The location is wonderful. The apartment is great, we felt at home.
  
  What could be improved: Being with company, lack a little comfort, e.g. in the bathroom – to hang out, put things, additional blanket when someone gets cold :). But it didn't spoil the trip.
