The building itself has that classic Kraków charm, tucked right into the medieval streetscape of the Old Town, and honestly, the entrance feels more like you’re staying at a friend’s place than checking into some sterile hotel.

This four-star property sits in what locals actually consider the real center of Kraków — not just tourist-center, but where the city’s energy genuinely pulses. You can walk to St. Mary’s Basilica in about two minutes, and the Cloth Hall is right there when you step outside. What I loved though was how you’re close enough to everything but on a quieter side street, so you’re not dealing with the main square crowds right outside your door. The location score of 9.8 makes total sense when you experience it firsthand.

The apartment I stayed in felt surprisingly spacious for Old Town standards — these medieval buildings usually mean tiny spaces, but Trip Apartments somehow maximized every square foot. The kitchen was actually functional (not just decorative like some places), which came in handy for morning coffee and storing those amazing pastries from the nearby bakeries. Each room had this perfect blend of modern comfort with subtle nods to the building’s history, and the windows — well, you’re looking out at centuries-old architecture that never gets old.

I totally get why couples rate this place a perfect 10 for romantic getaways. There’s something about having your own little nest right in the heart of this fairy-tale city that just works. You can grab wine from the corner shop, cook a simple dinner together, then step out for an evening stroll through the illuminated Old Town streets. The privacy of an apartment setup means you’re not dealing with hotel hallway noise or rushing to breakfast buffets — you set your own pace, which honestly makes the whole experience feel more intimate and authentic.

  The location was perfect – handy to Rynek and Galleria Krakow. Very quiet at night. The accommodation was clean – even pillow and duvet inserts were cleaned. Welcome was exceptional, and the host frequently went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

  Dariusz, the host, could not have been more helpful. We were late arriving and he waited to check us is and allows us to stay later on the last day as our flight was early evening.

  The apartment has a spacious living room with a big sofa-bed and a huge TV, kitchen area with a coffee pod machine with free pods, a very good bedroom, and an AMAZING bathroom. The host was also super kind and let us stay in the apartment a longer than the checkout time.
