The studio itself has that perfect balance of actually modern amenities without trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect. You know what I mean – it’s clean and functional, but it doesn’t feel sterile. The space is smart too, which matters because let’s face it, European studios can be… cozy. But this one actually uses every square meter well. I appreciated little touches like having enough outlets near the bed (honestly, why is this so rare?) and a kitchen setup that’s more than just decorative. The bathroom’s compact but totally fine – good water pressure, which after a day of walking around Kraków’s cobblestones is basically heaven.

Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize until they’re there – Dietla street puts you right in this sweet spot where you can walk to the Old Town in about ten minutes, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your window. You’ll hear some street noise during the day, sure, but it’s city noise, not drunk-tourists-at-3am noise. There’s actually a decent little grocery store practically next door, and if you head toward the river, you’ll find some restaurants that locals actually eat at. The castle views aren’t from every angle, but when you catch glimpses of those towers between buildings… well, it sort of hits you that you’re staying in a medieval fairy tale that happens to have WiFi.   Die Unterkunft ist modern eingerichtet, gut gelegen, um überall hin sehr schnell zu Fuß zu gelangen und der Lärm der Straße ist bei geschlossenen Fenstern fast nie hörbar. Die Aussicht aus den Dachfenstern über dem Bett ist natürlich toll, direkt auf die Burg Wawel. Die Ausstattung ist gut und hat uns vollkommen gereicht. Nur ein Trockentuch wäre noch praktisch, um nicht immer Küchenrolle nutzen zu müssen. Der TV ist ein Smart TV mit den üblichen App-Anwendungen, was sehr praktisch ist. Bei günstiger Ankunftszeit findet man in nächster Umgebung schnell einen Parkplatz (6 zl/h für 10-20 Uhr). Wir hatten das Auto 10 min zu Fuß entfernt geparkt, auf der anderen Flussseite (4 zl/h für 10-20 Uhr).
