The building sits quietly in Kraków’s Podgórze district, and honestly, that’s part of its charm — you’re close enough to everything that matters but far enough from the tourist crowds that can make the Old Town feel overwhelming during peak season. The entrance has this understated elegance that doesn’t try too hard, which I actually appreciated after seeing so many places that go overboard with the “boutique” aesthetic.

Here’s what I love about this location — you’re literally a short walk from Schindler’s Factory Museum, and the whole Zabłocie area has become this cool creative district with galleries and cafes that most tourists never discover. The tram connections are excellent (couples seem to really appreciate this, rating the location 9.0), and you can reach the main square in about 15 minutes without dealing with the noise and chaos of staying right in the center. Plus, there’s actual parking on site, which anyone who’s tried to navigate Kraków’s Old Town with a car will tell you is worth its weight in gold.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect from a three-star property in this price range. The design feels modern without being cold — think clean lines and neutral colors that actually help you relax after a day of sightseeing. What struck me most was the attention to practical details: proper blackout curtains (essential if you’re jet-lagged), decent water pressure in the shower, and enough electrical outlets that you don’t have to choose between charging your phone and using the bedside lamp. The beds are genuinely comfortable, not just “hotel comfortable.”

Neighborhood Gems

You know what’s great about staying in Podgórze? You get to experience Kraków like someone who actually lives here. There’s this fantastic local restaurant just around the corner that serves pierogi that’ll ruin you for the tourist versions in the main square — and the prices are about half what you’d pay in the Old Town. The morning walk to grab coffee takes you past the Vistula River, and if you’re up early enough, you’ll see locals jogging and walking their dogs while the city slowly wakes up. It feels authentic in a way that’s hard to find when you’re staying in the heart of the tourist zone.

Why Guests Love It

The 8.9 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve stayed here — it’s one of those places that consistently delivers on its promises without any unpleasant surprises. The staff seems to genuinely care about making sure you have what you need, and the location strikes that perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility. I mean, you can walk to Wawel Castle in about 20 minutes, but you’ll actually get a good night’s sleep without drunk tourists stumbling past your window at 2 AM. For couples especially, this seems to hit all the right notes — romantic enough for a special trip, practical enough that you’re not constantly stressed about logistics.

  The apartment, in general, the entire building is renovated, everything is new and clean! The flat was exactly as shown on the photographs, we've found anything that we needed 🙂 Also, the location is nice because it's not in the city centre, but it's very easily reached with the tram or bus 🙂

  Was everything clean and confortable. We had a pleasant stay. Its close to the train station that takes you to the city center. There are also two Zabka pretty close to the apartment where you can buy something to eat. Would 100% recomend. Its a small apartment, we shared in 6 people and was fine.

  Clean, very well organized, nice and quiet area. It may seem not to be in the center of the city, but you can reach the old town in few minutes by tram (Kazimierz is 15-20 minutes walk). The Oskar Schindler factory is nearby.

  There is a public paid parking in front of the building. Nearest parking machine accepts coins only and it can be difficult to provide coins for a day…but at the end of the street , on the left, some 50 meters straight, there is parking machine that accepts bank cards.
