You know what caught me off guard about the Cracovia Panorama East? The name makes it sound like some massive hotel complex, but it’s actually this really well-done apartment right in the heart of Old Town – and I mean properly in the center, not one of those “Old Town adjacent” places that’s actually a 20-minute walk from anything interesting. We’re talking aleja 29 Listopada, which honestly puts you within stumbling distance of the main square after a night sampling Polish vodka.

The apartment itself has this modern comfort thing figured out without losing the character you’d expect from a place in Krakow’s historic district. The setup feels more like staying at a friend’s place who has really good taste – there’s actual space to spread out (which, let’s be real, is rare in European city centers), and the kitchen is functional enough that we actually used it instead of just storing leftover pierogi in the fridge. What really sold me though was stepping out onto that little balcony area in the morning with coffee and realizing you can actually see across the rooftops toward the castle. It’s not a full panoramic view or anything dramatic, but there’s something satisfying about catching glimpses of Wawel Hill while you’re planning your day. The whole building sits nicely on the street – not too much noise from late-night foot traffic, but you definitely know you’re in a living, breathing part of the city.

Here’s the thing about this location that booking sites don’t really capture: you’re close enough to Planty Park that morning runs become this lovely routine, and there’s a fantastic little grocery store maybe two blocks away where the staff actually remembers you after a couple days. Plus – and this matters more than you’d think – the tram connections from this part of 29 Listopada are solid, so day trips out to places like Wieliczka Salt Mine don’t require an epic journey across town first. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward too, none of that awkward key-pickup-at-a-random-café situation you sometimes get with apartment rentals. I mean, at a 9.2 rating you’d expect things to run smoothly, but it’s nice when reality matches expectations. The only minor thing I’d mention is that hot water takes a minute to get going in the morning – not a deal-breaker, just one of those authentic European apartment quirks that keeps things interesting.

  The apartment is beautiful and spacious. Really well equipped for a stay. There’s a really comfortable sofa bed and a lovely separate double bedroom. The host communicated all instructions about codes and keys perfectly so there was no confusion

  The property is sparking clean and has all that you need for a comfortable stay! Located just few minutes from public transportation with a lot of connections all around the city. Panoramic view on newer part of the city is a great bonus.
  
  What could be improved: There is a railway just next to the building. It’s only used ever so often and with shut down windows you can barely hear it, but still I can imagine could be bit noisy with windows open.

  What could be improved: The location was a little far from everything, however, bus stops are located near by so you can get around on public transport quite easily. Beds are somewhat uncomfortable and the TV doesn’t work.

  We liked the fact that there is a parking spot that comes with the accommodation. The place is good and convenient. It's 20 minutes walk to Galeria Krakowska and an additional 5 minutes to Rynek. We loved the city and its vibes 🙂 You will soon forget anything negative the moment you enjoy your time with your loved ones and the nice Cracowians. The host was helpful and available.   What could be improved: There is noise that comes from the busy adjacent railways with fright trains passing by every 15 to 20 minutes around the clock. During the day it's OK, but at night, it's a bit disturbing. We didn't mind that initially when we booked the place, but the days we stayed there coincided with a nearby construction site working overnight, which made it worse. The first night, it was completely dark in half of the residential compound, where the building of this apartment and the parking lot was located.

  Mieszkanie ma bardzo dużo udogodnień. Plusem jest pralka z suszarką bębnowa oraz zmywarka. Apartament jest czysty z dostepną chemią do sprzątania czy podstawowymi przyprawami w kuchni.
