You know what struck me first about the Klimieckiego 8A BW Apartments? It’s tucked away on this quiet residential street in Dębniki – honestly, I almost walked past it because it blends right into the neighborhood. But that’s actually the charm of this place. While everyone’s fighting for spots in the Old Town, you’re getting proper apartment-style living in what feels like an authentic Krakow neighborhood, just across the river from all the tourist madness.

The apartments themselves are pretty solid for a 3-star setup – I mean, they’re not going to wow you with fancy marble or anything, but everything works and it’s clean. The kitchenettes are surprisingly well-equipped (I actually cooked a decent breakfast there), and the beds are comfortable enough that I didn’t wake up cursing my booking choices. What I really appreciated was the space – these aren’t those cramped hotel boxes where you’re bumping into furniture every time you turn around. The staff knows their stuff too, and check-in was refreshingly straightforward. I will say the WiFi can be a bit patchy in some units, but honestly, that might be a blessing depending on why you’re in Krakow.

Here’s the thing about the location that booking sites won’t tell you – yes, you’re about a 15-minute walk to Market Square, but you’re also right near some gems that most tourists never find. There’s this fantastic little bakery just down Klimeckiego that opens ridiculously early, and you’re actually closer to Wawel Castle than half the “centrally located” hotels charging twice as much. The tram connections are solid too – line 18 gets you pretty much anywhere you need to go. It gets properly quiet at night (thank god), unlike those places right in the thick of things where you’re dealing with drunk bachelor parties until 3 AM. The only minor annoyance is that parking can be tricky if you’ve got a car – street spots fill up fast and the nearest garage is a bit of a walk. But honestly, for the price point and that 8.2 rating, it makes total sense. It’s one of those places that doesn’t try to be something it’s not, just delivers decent value in a neighborhood that feels like actual Krakow rather than tourist theme park Krakow.

  Very pretty apartment, visibly new appliances, great kitchen with induction stove, balcony and beautiful deep bathtub.
  
  What could be improved: hard to find the building itself since Googlr Maos is misleading about the address, not much parking in the vicinity, would be nice to have other utilities in the bathroom apart from hand wash (body wash, shampoo, etc).

  What could be improved: Z jednego mieszkania zrobione są dwa ze współdzielonym przedpokojem, co nie jest opisane w ofercie. Oczywiście ludzi z drugiego apartamentu bardzo słychać za ścianą, bo jest to jedno mieszkanie! Wejście do mieszkania odbywa się poprzez wpisanie kodu 10-cyfrowego na automatycznej klamce, co jest upierdliwe kiedy trzeba wnieść bagaże i za każdym razem wpisywać kod. Pierwsze co widzimy w mieszkaniu to zasady obiektu, człowiek od wejścia czuje się jak intruz. Miejsca w apartamencie jest mało, coś jak pokój w hotelu. Widok z balkonu jest na inne balkony. Lokalizacja mieszkania jest słaba, dookoła jest albo 2-pasmowa ulica albo budowy kolejnych mieszkań, albo firma, z terenem prywatnym. Jeśli chce się gdzieś przejść to trzeba podjechać autem, bo nie ma nic dookoła. W ofercie jest napisane, że parking jest bezpłatny, ale właściciel nie wykupił miejsc w parkingu podziemnym, więc parking bezpłatny to 10 miejsc pod blokiem, który oczywiście są przeważnie zajęte, inną opcją jest postawienie auta na parkingu strzeżonym wątpliwej jakości, za który trzeba oczywiście zapłacić. Miałam okazję korzsytać z lepszych ofert za podobne pieniądze.
