Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Negroni Apartments? The location is just ridiculously perfect – I mean, you’re literally on Starowiślna, which puts you maybe a three-minute walk from the Main Square without being right in the tourist chaos. It’s one of those old Krakow buildings that’s been beautifully converted, and honestly, the name makes total sense once you see the place. There’s this sophisticated, slightly Italian vibe going on that feels way more grown-up than your typical apartment rental.

The apartments themselves are actually spacious, which is rare in Old Town – most places squeeze you into these tiny historic rooms, but here you’ve got room to breathe. The kitchens are properly equipped (I’m talking real cookware, not those sad little hotel setups), and the bathrooms are modern without feeling sterile. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, despite being so central. You’re tucked away from the main party streets but close enough that you can stumble home from Szewska or Floriańska without calling an Uber. The building itself has character – those thick walls and high ceilings that make you remember you’re staying in a city that’s been here for centuries.

Here’s the thing though – this isn’t just about having a nice place to crash. The staff actually knows the neighborhood, and I mean beyond the obvious tourist spots. They pointed me toward this little pierogi place on Kanonicza that I never would’ve found otherwise, and when I mentioned wanting to avoid the crowds at Cloth Hall, they told me exactly when to go (early morning or right before closing, if you’re wondering). Check-in was smooth, parking arrangements were sorted without drama, and they’ve got that sweet spot of being helpful without hovering. The 8.9 rating makes sense – it’s the kind of place where small details are handled well, from decent water pressure to blackout curtains that actually work. If you’re planning to spend real time in Krakow rather than just checking boxes on a tourist list, this is exactly where you want to be based. It feels like staying in someone’s well-appointed apartment rather than a hotel, but with all the backup you need when things go sideways.

Reviews

  • I’d definitely stay here again and will recommend apartment to anyone I know – Elina from United Kingdom – June 15, 2025 (9/10)

Apartment was very spacious, and there was everything we needed. Kids loved all the toys there. Location was also brilliant, very close to old town.

  • Super location. Will rent it again! – Ringnes from Norway – June 2, 2025 (10/10)

    Perfect location and nice appartment

  • Exceptional – Grzegorz from Poland – April 24, 2025 (10/10)

We enjoyed how spacious the apartment was. We traveled in a group of six, and we all had our own comfortable space in the apartment. The location was another positive. It was a 10–15-minute walk to Wawel Castle and the Main Square. Plenty of restaurants, pubs, and small local shops were within a 5–10-minute walk. Tram stops just behind corner. The train from the airport stops a 10-minute walk from the apartment, and you can also use this station for your trip to the Salt Mine.

What could be improved: It's a little noisy in the late afternoon, with trams and trains passing by nearby, but nothing major.

  • Exceptional – Marlena from United Kingdom – December 30, 2024 (10/10)

    Great stay

  • Very happy. Would stay agin. – Mary from Ireland – December 12, 2024 (10/10)

A family of 6. 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 young children. Very spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. 10-15 minute walk to town centre and big shopping centre. Shop with all essentials across the road and a lovely bakery on the corner. No hassle checking in. Everything well explained. Would stay again

  • Brilliant location – Angela from United Kingdom – August 21, 2024 (8/10)

    Fantastic location.
    Very spacious.
Plenty of room for all of us.

  • Great stay for a big group (6-7 pers) + great location. – Andreas from Sweden – July 8, 2024 (8/10)

The accommodation was great. We were a group of six people who stayed here. The accommodation had everything we needed. It is located close to a train station, which takes you directly to Oświęcim (Auschwitz) as well as to the airport. Additionally, there is a fairly big supermarket (Biedronka) just around the corner. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Old Town, which is perfect.

What could be improved: During our stay, we did not have any hot water for the shower. The accommodation owner did, however, reply quickly to our complaint and contacted the house management. Unfortunately, the issue with the hot water didn’t get fixed during our weekend stay. The accommodation owner apologized for this inconvenience and informed us that maintenance personnel were coming to fix the issue on the following weekday. This was the only issue we had.
